The Deceitful Augur is a Boss in Remnant 2. Deceitful Augur is an Aberration of the Root Shaman. Bosses are the ultimate Enemies as they present a more challenging battle than Enemies or "Elite" Enemies, they are usually found guarding special locations or items, and some of them are important to the Lore and main Story of the game.
Remnant 2 Deceitful Augur Information
- Deceitful Augur is an Aberration that will randomly appear during enemy ambushes.
- As an Aberration its behavior is mostly identical to that of the Root Shaman, but has significantly increased health.
- The increased durability gives the Deceitful Augur a much larger window to summon Root Zombies, easily creating large groups. When encountered it should be defeated as quickly as possible.
- Has a number of random Suffixes depending on the difficulty. (2/2/3/4 from Survivor to Apocalypse.)
- Can appear with Aberration Suffixes, potentially giving it a new special ability.
- Can appear with the Yaesha exclusive Suffixes Enchanter and Root Grab.

- Yaesha - randomly spawns during enemy ambushes instead of an Elite Enemy.

- 1-2 Relic Fragment
- Relic Dust (if the Relic Fragment is a duplicate)
