The Huntress is a Boss in Remnant 2. The Huntress is a Fae rider that can be found in the streets of Losomn. Bosses are the ultimate Enemies as they present a more challenging battle than Enemies or "Elite" Enemies. They are usually found guarding special locations or items, and some of them are important to the Lore and main Story of the game.
Remnant 2 The Huntress Information
- The Huntress is an optional boss that will appear on Losomn overworld maps that have Briella's Garden as their field location.
- Hearing an animal's call upon entering a location in the Streets of Losomn indicates that the Huntress is on the prowl.
- She will jump from roof to roof, stalking players. Attacking enemies while she watches will prompt her to initiate combat.
- After a short while, or after taking enough damage, she will retreat to the roof tops again.
- Weak Spots: Goat's Head, Rider's Head.
Where to find The Huntress in Remnant 2

- Tome of Knowledge
- Venerated Spearhead
- Sacred Hunt Feather (Alternate Drop)
- Attack The Huntress when found sleeping with the Dreamcatcher and it provides the Huntress's Dream consumable that takes you to "Briella's Reverie" which appears to just be a large map full of normal trash mobs. Remnant 2 The Huntress Strategies
Remnant 2 The Huntress Strategy Writeup
Briella's Garden encounter
The Huntress is a powerful Fae that rides on a goat-like creature. She can easily overwhelm players with her powerful attacks, as well as her agility. She wields a powerful spear, which gives her an insane amount of reach when performing melee attacks.
She has a vast arsenal of attacks at her disposal, and may even run away, taking advantage of the speed of her steed. When she does this, players will have to find her around the area.
Sometimes she will be found sleeping near the Briella's Garden checkpoint. In this state, using the Dreamcatcher on her rewards the Huntress's Dream, a consumable that transports players to Briella's Reverie where an alternate version of her can be fought.
After her health has been reduced to 50% once, she will always be found sleeping, stopping her hunt permanently.
Briella's Reverie encounter
When fought in her dreamscape, the Huntress has different suffixes, and will never retreat. Initially she will use the same abilities as the version in the overworld.
Once roughly a third of her health has been depleted, she will power up, enveloping her weapon and steed in Fae fire.
Her spear swings will inflict BURNING instead of CORRODED; the Cyclone Slash will have a much shorter wind-up that does not require her to spin around; and she also gains an empowered version of the Goat Jump that releases a burst of flames.
Attacks & Counter
Attack | Counter |
Goat Jump: The Huntress leans backs and jumps directly in front of her, attempting to trample you. | Dodge to either side. |
Horn Attack: The Goat moves back and attempts to impale players with her horns in a two part vertical attack. | Dodge to either side. |
Spectral Crows: The Huntress creates three crows that fly towards the player | Shoot the Crows down. One of them will glow, killing it destroys the others as well. |
Cyclone Slash: The Huntress moves circularly on its place, and sends a powerful slash with her spear that tears the air. Can be chained twice. | Dodge to either side. |
Tri-Swipe: The Huntress makes three tracking sweeps that advance forward. | Three dodges backwards if started soon enough can out range it. other wise must time invincibility frames with swipes. |
Swipe Fake-> Horn attack: The Huntress starts what looks like the Tri-Swipe and changes it up after first swipe into a delayed Horn Attack. | Need more testing. horn attack will always hit a dodge timed out for the Tri-Swipe. |
Remnant 2 The Huntress Notes & Trivia and Gallery
- Found an exploit where I was able to make the dog attack her when she was laying down without agroing her. Takes a while, but it'll eventually kill her. 8/10/2023 Update: Patch Notes claim to have fixed this exploit: "Fixed issue with Handler's Very Good Boy not waking the sleeping Huntress when attacking."
- It is possible to fight both versions of the fight in one run by getting the dream before defeating her then using the consumable. It is also possible to start with the dream version and fight her regular version by returning to the ward and re-entering the area.
- If you come to Briella's Garden before encountering her in any other areas, you are safe to fight her off. After hitting 2/3rds remaining health, she will back off and jump to a nearby roof, watching you. If you attack her or an enemy while she watches, she will attack you again until you take her down to 1/3rd health remaining. After that, she will leave and can be found sleeping as normal if you reload the area.

Why the **** does this boss spawn elites? I cleared the entire area surrounding her - only for her to literally spawn an a corrupted elite with minions and modifiers. Whose bright idea was this??????

The queen of ridiculously delayed attacks. I mean, she isn't hard or anything I'm honestly just tired of action games made in the soulslike formula putting unrealistically delayed attacks in the game. You can have attacks that punish panic dodging but the overly delayed attacks just waste time. I'm literally just STANDING there waiting for the geriatric bosses to perform their attacks.

found out why dreamcatcher kept not working, gotta be 2 steps further back than what you'd/i'd think

Damaging her 50% will have her stop the ambushes and stay sleeping at her spot in the garden. Accessing the dream consumes the item and defeating the dream does not defeat her in the real world, so best approach is to fight her off, then start going at the dreams, then take her on.

Its annoying that sometimes she just leaves and seemingly despawns. Multiple times now she's gotten low and runs away, only for me to scour the entire area and she's nowhere to be seen, on the rooftops or otherwise

Is she a fae? What is she doing in the middle of Dran's city? Is she basically a manhunter?

Very easy exploit to kill her with any class: just push yourself against her left side and melee. She doesn't have a move to deal with this, and she'll just keep trying to turn towards you and pushing you in a circle.

She insta kills minions at the start of the fight AND almost one shots the dog(on apocalypse but still, minion HP is scalled).

Terrible boss; seemingly the only one in the game that spawns the actual area enemies on you. On Apoc this is not a good time.

If you steal her dream, then proceed to kill her and then use the dream Item you can kill her again and get the both rewards

Players joining my game in the dream world seemed to soft lock the game. Most would not join, but when one player finally showed the "rest to revive" message, I used the checkpoint and the game locked all actions in the middle of the environment glowing white. Had to turn off game to get out.

As per the notes I was able to use both my dog and summon to attack in her sleep without argroing

As per the notes and trivia section:
- got the Huntress's Dream consumable
- used it and completed the fight (Dream version)
- warped back to Ward 13, then back to the Briella's Garden WP
- Huntress regular fight was still available

Guys make sure to hold the attack button with the dream catcher and it will play a special animation of you putting it up to her head and you’ll get the item

To get her to sleep easily, just allow her to kill you. Then when you respawn and go back to her area, she should be asleep on the ground. This works best if you have already used the checkpoint just across from her position at the graveyard, as you basically respawn right next to her sleeping location after death.

You can attack her while she's sleeping even after defeating her in the dream, obtaining both materials in one playthrough.

Is it possible for her to not spawn at all?
Rolled the OTK storyline, Ironborough as the middle zone, and it's the only Dran location
- Anonymous
She wasn't asleep for me, but immediately in the starting area of Ironborough, fighting.

If you see a world stone behind a broken wall and a park with a giant arch in the middle next to it, then there is the huntress in this area.
To let her sleep, you need to knock her health lower than half and keep a certain distance in between, then once she tries to escape, there is a chance instead of scouting on the roof, she will go back to the arch in the park and sleep there.

For the dream ****, sneak up on the elk and light attack the elk (with the dreamcatcher weapon), not her. If you're not spotted, then you should do an animation. Equip that consumable to a hotkey and tele. Had me ragin' for a moment, idk, bird brain here.

When in and let my dog attack without waking her, then sneaked up her and caught the dream while my dog was attacking her, she didn't wake up the netie time until she died

Kill the dream version before the real version.
I died during the dream version and was able to walk up and get another consumable to try again.

Possible to break the AI of this boss. If you stand in melee near her left leg and continue to move into her while meleeing, she will just try and circle around you without attacking.
- Anonymous
It's possible to get both rewards
-First, hit her with the Dreamcatcher to get the consumable
-Kill her normally (wake her up) you'll get the Venerated Spearhead
-Use the Huntress' dream consumabel, kill her again and get the Sacred Hunt Feather
Could be a lucky bug i got idk, but it's worth trying ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

At least with the claws weapon, you can sorta break her AI so she doesn't retreat or do many of her special moves if you just relentlessly attack her after she sleeps. Keep to the right and she'll have a hard time swiping youbwith her spear, though you donhave to worry about her summons.
Very annoying to solo as a result,

Once had two Huntresses spawn at once. She was jumping between rooftops at about half health, and there was another one sitting with the goat on the ground. Needless to say, accidentally hitting the sitting one while fighting the other ended poorly.

Found an exploit where I was able to keep firing at the goat on the roof without it jumping down. The roof was in view of the farthest crystal spawn, and I was nearby it. I'm assuming it doesn't jump down if it doesn't have a valid landing vector.

This boss is literally the most unfair thing in the entire game for two reasons...ONE: WHY THE HELL ARE THE DRAN HELPING HER? She is a FAE that is BUTCHERING them so they come in to HELP her? WTF? Two: this is the only boss in the game that TRULY changes her attacks MID ANIMATION. Not even Faerin/Faelin actually changes mid animation he does a different attack if you panic roll or something. The huntress actually changes her attacks even if you perform correctly thus making it where you literally can't adapt to or counter anything she does and many of her attacks have the SAME tells for DIFFERENT attacks. Most people never find this out though because HUGz go brrr.
