Plaguebringer is an Aberration in Remnant 2. Plaguebringer is the Aberration version of a Root Wart. They were added in the Aberration Domination event on October 27, 2023.
Remnant 2 Plaguebringer Information
- Plaguebringer is an Aberration that will randomly appear during enemy ambushes.
- As an Aberration its behavior is mostly identical to that of the Root Wart, but has significantly increased health.
- Retains the self-destructive behavior of the base variant, allowing for easy rewards if players dodge the explosion.
- Has a number of random Suffixes depending on the difficulty. (2/2/3/4 from Survivor to Apocalypse.)
- Can appear with Aberration Suffixes, potentially giving it a new special ability.
- Can appear with the Yaesha exclusive Suffixes Enchanter and Root Grab.

Plaguebringer can be found in the following Locations:
- Yaesha - randomly spawns during enemy ambushes instead of an Elite Enemy.
Remnant 2 Plaguebringer Drops & Rewards
Aberrations found in enemy ambushes may randomly drop the following items:
- 1 Random Mutator from the following:
- Ranged Mutators
- Melee Mutators
- 1 additonal Corrupted Lumenite Crystal (if Mutator was a duplicate)
- 1 Corrupted Shard
- Additional Scrap (if the player already has 10 Corrupted Shards)
- 1 Corrupted Lumenite Crystal
- 1-2 Relic Fragment
- Relic Dust (if the Relic Fragment is a duplicate)
- Iron, Forged Iron, Galvanized Iron or Hardened Iron
- Scrap

AnonymousGot one of these as an aberration with the ability that teleports you straight to them. Was just walking through a calm part of the zone and I didn't even see the other modifier it had before it ****ing straight up tore me from reality, brought me before it like some kind of medieval executioner and killed me with no chance to dodge.

This guy spawned with Cubes for me, and for whatever reason one of the cubes insta-killed me with one tick of damage. I was at full health, wearing the leto II, and it was on Survivor. Something about this guy's scaling is very weird
