Lydusa is a Boss in Remnant 2. Lydusa is the main antagonist of the second DLC of Remnant 2, The Forgotten KingdomBosses are the ultimate Enemies as they present a more challenging battle than Enemies or "Elite" Enemies, they are usually found guarding special locations or items, and some of them are important to the Lore and main Story of the game.

When the ground beneath you shakes and quakes and tosses you from, when boulders tumble and crush from above,  when the deep, dark caves twist and lead you astray... That's Lydusa's wrath.

Remnant 2 Lydusa Strategy Writeup

Lydusa is the final World Boss of the new DLC The Forgotten Kingdom

She is a giant floating head that possess a vast array of moves. But she is not the only hurdle players will have to watch out during the encounter. The battlefield adds another layer of difficulty to the match, since players can fall to their death if they are unaware of their surroundings.

Lydusa moves around the battelfield quite fast, and can be a challenge to keep up with her.

Attacks & Counter

Attack Counter
Head Stomp: Lydusa hardens and stomp the ground violently. It performs this move three times in a row. Dodge to either side. Mind the gap at both sides.
Wall Rush: Lydusa closes the arena, preventing players from falling, but also from escaping. She turns herself into a wall that rushes towards the player. Shoot Lydusa's head to break the wall, and remain there to dodge the walls. Keep shooting her everytime she comes and remain in her previous position.
Closing Walls: Lydusa will perform this move when she is about to die. The sides of the arena, will start to close out on the player. Attack her with everything you have. Use your most powerful skills and attacks to avoid being crushed by the walls.

Monarch Long Gun makes this fight extremely easy, as you can just stick the mod on her and focus more on navigating her moveset and whatnot.

That wall is trash. "We are going to add awesome melee weapons. We are also going to make bosses immune to melee builds."

        • Please disregard the below comment. There are unique lines of dialogue with Lydusa when a handful of items (perhaps more, although I did my best to test thoroughly) are equipped. I've edited this page and added the relevant items to the 'notes & trivia' section ☺️

I've tested it with: Sorrow, Tear of Kaelula, Tear of Lydusa, Bloodless crown, Bloodless heart, Thalos Eyelet and the disciple set.

The only item she had any reaction to was the Thalos Eyelet.

This is rather disappointing given that their are numerous items that I had which she should've reacted to, even just a single sentence like the One True King has for various items would've been nice.

This is another bullshot fight on nightmare. Not only do you have to fight with 15% dr reduction blight. She spams aoe's that cover floor amd slow you (they persist for a while and new ones are placed before old ones even expire), she spawns multiple orbs that continuosly fire at you, and she shoots at you in a combo. Get caught by anything and your dead because the devs want to keep nerfing DR so everything can one shot. You are forced to play their playstyle of "dodge everything" but you have to take bisected ring for infinite stamina because your literally dodging every second and because yhe ring has negative DR on it you have to play perfect or you die from one hit. This DLC was trash
