Remnant 2 E.D. Alpha Strategy Writeup

Precise weapons at long range, destructive weapons at short. Spam your bullets until you break its armor-shield, after that start aiming to the eye to hit critical damage. The creature rolls on the ground and sometimes perfoms spinning attacks, in these moments it's not recommended to waste too much ammo if you are running low, save the ammo to hit critical hits.

You can also destroy its minions around it to gain some ammo drops.

Lit the ground on fire if you have a weapon for it, whenever E.D. Alpha is getting closer or rolling on the ground. You can gain some distance while it burns, to keep safe and keep DPS up.

Remember this Boss only performs melee range or AOE attacks around itself, so its always best to keep distance and avoid getting cornered. If you get cornered you may try shooting or hitting one of its legs to stagger it and gain distance again.

Minions will die at the same time the Boss is defeated.

Attacks & Counter

Attack Counter
Swing: While standing close to its target, it will swing with any of its arms once at its target. It's best to always keep distance as most of its attacks are melee.
Spinning Attack: At close range it extends both arms and starts spinning hitting the surrounding targets. Avoid getting cornered, you may try to shoot at its legs to stagger it and get out of its range.
Roll: When its targets are far from it, it will retract its legs and arms to become a ball and it will approach to the target faster than its walking speed. You can use this gap of time to destroy its armor-shield, if you are low on ammo, you may consider waiting until it stands up to shoot at its eye, to inflict more damage with less bullets.
Slam & Spin: If it rolls close enough, it will jump and in the air and slam the ground in its ball form, and get up while spinning white some limbs extended hitting nearby targets.  This attack is performed whenever this enemy Rolls too close to its target. It only Rolls a certain distance, so if you keep away enough, this attack won't be triggered.

The boss no longer spawns for me no matter what i do. Ive read a million times that going through the long elevator respawns it but it doesnt. no matter where i go or what i do i cant get it to spawn after it killed me the first time. Ive gone through the whole dungeon again, ive left to a new area of the map, back to ward 13, and nothing. No boss.

If you die, and the boss isnt there, go to the boss area, than go back up the long elevator across the bridge you took to get here the first time, than come back down the elevator, and it will re-spawn the boss.

        • Not sure if it's a bug, but after dying to the boss. It's no longer at the bottom floor and randomly spawns down there. Cleared everything from the dungeon and can't find the boss again.
