Remnant 2 The Stonewarden Strategy Writeup
Possesses the same weaknesses as the other living stone constructs, aim for beneath the armor to the dark spots for critical damage. He starts with one arm at a time, either the heavy right arm or the left arm with the mining pike (yes, I mean pike, not pick) and uses the same moves as the elite stone statues, if you can dodge those attacks you'll do fine. Once he hits 50% he'll lower the walls on the sides of the arena and send two lines of statues to spread across the arena, which then slam their weapons down and explode, he remains stationary on the respective side of the wall so he can be easily targeted, he will switch sides and call another two lines of statues where the same thing happens. Other than that, there isn't too much in the way of variation, just focus on dodging the well telegraphed attacks and aim for the weak points.

Is this boss gtd. on first run? cant find him, and got no location called Earthen Coliseum. I have "completed" the DLC.

Rolled Spiteful and Vicious, go figure. Not a fan of one shot mechanics. It just means you have to play perfect or die. Look, I just destroyed this boss with Vash's World's Edge Apoc Tank Build and I ate goldfish and text messaged my way through the fight, but I shouldn't have to do this. I want hard boss fights, but I want to be able to make one mistimed dodge and be able to recover the fight.

Boss can appear as a story passage one, stopping an otherwise fluent Apo run dead in its tracks.
So unfortunately, the boss is not always optional.

This instant engage no time for any skill buff is some kind of annoying but more annoying is beeing cursed and regret the choice xD

I can beat this boss, and have done so 4 times now, but I despise it.
Boss modifiers make this boss tedious, rather than engaging.
Arena feels way too small.
many attacks seem to have the same startup pose.
slam attack that *sometimes* turns into an aoe attack has that effect be unnoticeable when any amount of your mod/skill area effects are on screen.
positioning yourself between the statues with the camera offset in this game can be really annoying.
I get that he's supposed to be in your face, but did every one of his attacks really need to have it's range extended to reach you regardless of distance? It feels off and looks funny.
You *can* beat him with almost any build(if you use explosives you will probably die lmao), but with how this fight is structured I feel heavily strong-armed into building for the fight, as opposed to learning the fight.
TL;DR
I'm bad need to get good.
The fight is tedious.
Boss Modifiers suck on this boss in particular.

I cannot believe how hard this fight is on apocalypse. I'll admit I'm not amazing at this game, just average, but no matter my build he will always kill me in one hit, with the only exceptions being some of his light combo attacks, that will kill me in two instead

As a Just Shapes and Beats veteran, it was absolutely hilarious watching my friends go crazy trying to avoid the statue wall attack. For those who have not had the pleasure of playing the "paper dolls" level in JSAB, when the statues pop up, don't worry about timing a dodge. There is a gap in the formation. Check the edges especially, I had the most success hugging the wall. And don't get confused by the second line behind, those don't seem to travel the whole length of the arena, rather traveling about halfway before exploding.
