The Nightweaver is a Boss in Remnant 2. The Nightweaver is Nimue's sister and feeds on nightmares and fears. Bosses are the ultimate Enemies as they present a more challenging battle than Enemies or "Elite" Enemies. They are usually found guarding special locations or items, and some of them are important to the Lore and main Story of the game.

Remnant 2 The Nightweaver Information

  • This boss is not optional if players start their Losomn run in the Morrow Parish location.
  • Weak Spot: Heart
    • Enough damage to the heart can destroy it, removing the weakspot, but also removing her ability to summon spiders.
    • She gains a more spectral appearance when this happens.
    • She can also regain her heart during a grab attack in the second phase

Remnant 2 The Nightweaver Drops & Rewards

Defeat The Nightweaver to loot the following drops or gain the following rewards:

  • x1,163 Scrap
  • Tome of Knowledge
  • x5 Lumenite Crystal
  • Cursed Dream Silks
  • Nightweaver's Finger (Alternate drop when you kill Nightweaver in her shade form)
(The shade form is triggered during phase 1 when you destroy her heart and will make Nighweaver look different from her solid form, if you are caught during her second phase with her grab attack, she will return to solid form. It is a lot harder to destroy her heart in phase 2 as she only shows it after hiding and summoning minions. It is best to die during phase 2 if she succeeds using the grab attack. To avoid the grab attack, remember the pattern of her attack, it usually happens after 2 small attacks followed by ice projectiles followed by a dash attack which then leads into a grab attack that has a delay, do not dodge the initial animation when she starts the grab attack but dodge during the actual grab/dash after she shines blue)

Remnant 2 The Nightweaver Strategy Writeup

The Nightweaver flies around the battlefield, while using both ranged and melee attack. She is nimble and extremely fast, using powerful lunges to cover long distances and deal damage.

Besides that, she has a few ranged attacks and even can summon minions to the battlefield.

Dealing damage to her may be complicated because of her ability to move around constantly through the battlefield.

The Nightweaver (after at least 4 bars of health have been removed) will raise both arms and expose her heart, while she summons minions to the battlefield. Players should focus on dealing her as much damage as possible during this time. If they manage to destroy her heart, her drop will be changed when she is defeated, assuming she does not regain it during the second phase (see below)

After her health bar has been completely removed, she will still live. Approach her body to watch a short scene and prepare for the second phase, this time, inside the Asylum.

During this second phase, she won't fly around the battlefield, but crawl on the ground. Regardless, she will still be extremely fast. She will also gain the ability to pass through walls, and reappear through another area. In this phase be very careful of the walls and stairs when she hides, she will gain the ability to grab you and pull the player into the wall causing instant death.  She also gains a different grab which she uses alongside her usual swiping attacks: this is not an instant kill, but it is likely to end in death.  There appears to be an unmarked QTE to kick her off (though it could be random, this detail is uncertain.  It has been observed to kick her off nearly instantly, or be incapable of doing it at all even from full health).  NOTE: if she lands this particular grab after you have destroyed her heart, she will regain her own, restoring her old appearance, and regaining the ability to summon minions.

This time, when her health bar is depleted, she is gone for good.

Attacks & Counter (Phase 1)

Attack

Description

Counter
Spectral Lunge The Nightweaver rises in the air, dive to the ground and crawl toward the player rapidly with her claws slashing away in front of her.  If her target is significantly far away, she will continue to swipe until she reaches her target (even across the entire map), and will always follow the move with the spectral slam (see below) Dodge through her to avoid her looping around.
Spectral Slam The Nightweaver falls violently to the ground, dealing massive damage in a wide area. Move away from her while sprinting or time a perfect dodge by listening to her scream.  She is much more likely to deal damage during the recovery phase of the dodge than earlier in the animation.  Even being in the edge of the blast usually results in being staggered onto the ground.
Slashing Stumble Rises up and slashes rapidly 3-4 times while moving a very small amount forward. Only appears to function when the target is very close to her, and does not seem to chain from or into any other attacks. Dodge away in any direction.
Ground Burst When a player is nearby, she may thrust a hand down, grabbing the ground.  After a short delay, she will thrust up and out, causing a short-range blast.  This appears to also only be used when a player is very close to her. Keep distance, and roll when she strikes the ground, as most dodge rolls will get you clear of the range.  For those with shorter dodges, try to time the roll to start during the pause before the blast.
Icy Spikes The Nightweaver creates four spiky icy missiles in the air, that aim to deal damage to the player. Dodge away from the Icy Spikes as they come towards you. You can sidestep them by strafing to either side for a second.  Normal walk speed is sufficient to cause them to miss, but ADS does not.  This is a good opportunity to reload.
Spectral Rain The Nightweaver stays on its place and launches many ranged attacks in different directions.  Happens after she gets staggered.

Don't stand still, strafe to either side.

Summon Spiders The Nightweaver, after at least 4 bars of health have been removed, will draw her heart out, and start to summon four spiders which will walk towards you and suicide-strike you.  The spiders are a minimal threat (despite dealing respectable damage), as they are pretty large, do not dodge, and have relatively little health.

If you are at range, focus fire on her heart weakspot, and when she closes it again, kill the spiders.  If you are closer, kill the spiders quickly, and then try to deal damage to her heart.  Unfortunately, you will likely not get to deal much damage in this case.  Her heart can be destroyed, and it is ideal to destroy it in this phase, as it is far more difficult to do in the second phase.  If you are hunting for her alternate drop, this is critical.  Note: if you destroy her heart, it will remove her ability to perform this move.  Her moveset becomes slightly more aggressive in this case, with far more ice spikes.

Attacks & Counter (Phase 2)

Attack Description Counter

Lunge / Dive

There is a variation where she summons three of her phase one ice balls during the dive.  Sometimes this move is preceded with a backwards leap to gain distance.

Dodge either to the side, or towards her.  Mistiming the forward dodge will result in likely one or two ice projectiles in hitting, but will also give you more distance in case she does a follow-up attack.
Double attack  She will crawl toward you, attack you and after a second or two delay, slam her hand down.  May then be chained with a backwards leap, and the above lunge/dive move usually with the projectile variant.   Dodge to the side or forward to gain space.
Slashing Stumble Nearly identical to the Phase 1 version.  Rises up and slashes rapidly 3-4 times while moving a very small amount forward.  Only appears to function when the target is very close to her, and does not seem to chain from or into any other attacks. Quickly dodge back or to the side.  This move isn't a huge threat, as long as it doesn't all connect.

Dream Thief

Rises to her full height, arms spread wide with a blue glow behind her.  Lunges forward a fair distance, grabbing any one player caught in this surprisingly large hitbox.  It will enter into a different camera angle, and she will drain the player, regaining a significant amount of health (approx. 1/3 of her total health pool). This move is easily confused with the double attack, is it has a similar windup.  However, this one has a significantly longer windup, and has a noticable glow if you know to look for it.  This move can insta-kill a player if they are unable to break out (from co-op damage, or from what appears to be a hidden QTE to break free with a kick), but with either coop, or what appears to be a certain amount of luck, even solo players can break out.  This is one of her most dangerous moves.

NOTE: If you are hunting for her alternate drop this is the biggest threat to your success.  If she lands the grab, she will steal your dream/heart, and regain her OWN heart, undoing your progress from the first phase in this regard.
IF you destroyed her heart in the first phase AND kill her while it remains destroyed in the second phase, the alternate drop WILL occur.

Once you notice the blue glow, wait until she has almost stopped moving into her "striking" pose, then roll towards her.  The hitbox is quite large, and seems to extend significantly in front of her, but not behind.  The timing is crucial, as it seems she can land it during invincibility frames from dodging.
Teleport The Nightweaver crawls into the floor, or crawls towards, and then into, a wall.  After a short delay, she will follow up with either emerging from the floor to attack (there is a variant where she summons 2 spiders alongside her.  She can do this variant even if her heart has been destroyed), emerging from a wall to attack, emerging from a wall to do a wall grab (see below), or emerging from a ceiling to do a ceiling summoning (see further below).  Stay away from walls to avoid follow up to this move.
Wall Grab After performing a teleport, she may lean out of the nearest wall to grab at a player.  If she lands the grab, the player will be pulled against the wall while she rakes her claws against their torso.  This move deals significant damage very quickly.  In co-op, this will usually result in the grabbed player going down (but they can be saved with enough damage applied to her quickly enough), but for a solo player, this move is instant death.  This is easily her most dangerous move.   After she teleports, stand as far away from walls as possible.  This includes the walls alongside the stairs going up.  This is intended as a stealth move, so dodging is unlikely to work.  Predicting and staying out of range is the best counter.
Ceiling Summoning  After teleporting, if she has her heart, she may appear in one of the side rooms on the ceiling.  You can potentially tell this move is occurring by listening for a loudly beating heart.  The sound effect appears to be centered on her, so this can be used to locate her as well.  She will open her chest, revealing her heart weakspot, and summon 3-4 sets of three spiders.  There is approximately a 3 second delay between each set. Either wait it out and kill the spiders, or use the heartbeat sound effect to locate her.  If enough damage is dealt (Ideally to her exposed heart weakspot) she'll fall to the floor, interrupting the summoning.

I killed it as a power level 5 on Veteran for the third try, it is the hardest boss in the game imo still, its easy if you dont dodge roll

      • Anonymous

I held off fighting The Nightweaver on my main campaign. By collecting better gear and leveling up my archetypes. So I went back and I was higher in power level (18 Vs 15). I was able to take more damage and not get insta kill. I managed to complete it in two runs. This only works for the campaign and not adventure mode.

        • Anonymous

Fun fact, if you jump off the railing in phase 2, it will still do the grab with 100% accuracy and do the QTE while you are floating in air. I would guess this grab is bugged and not intended to defy the laws of physics.

          • Anonymous

how the **** do you dodge the slam attack in the first phase? i dont mind a boss being hard but with my hunter/handler (haven't unlocked other archetypes yet) it feels like I have to no-hit her to stand a chance

            • Anonymous

Anyone know why my nightfall got upgraded to +5 from +3 from killing her? I was trying to keep my power level at +3 boss and +6 regular but this just messed up my whole plan

              • Anonymous

What is with specific enemies having insta kill moves? Like it doesn't even have rhyme or reason to it they just gave random enemies and bosses one shots. The blue specters on N'erud. Nightweaver. Magister Dullain. The Labyrinth Sentinels are the only one where it makes sense.

At least our perks should be able to revive from them.

I despise the one shot she does not because it is a one shot but because she SPAMS the stupid thing sometimes. Last fight against her on HARDCORE no less I had her do 3 of them almost back to back. Thank fully I had my turret plopped down and it knocked her off me but I still lost the alt kill for her.

If you play CO-OP please note this.
if your friend get grab (ground grab , not wall grab) , try shooting her chest and you can save your friend from insta-kill.
if you play Solo , Ignore this and just died lol.

Buff the nightweaver back to pre-patch levels, remove the insta kill. Literally she's a braindead zombie except if you fight anywhere other than the center room because of an instant kill..

During my first playthrough, I was Handler/Challenger for this fight. 2P co-op game. My teammate got one-tapped in phase 2, boss had half health left.
My support dog, being the absolute champion he is, held her aggro for the rest of the fight. He perfectly dodged everything and kept her bleeding.
I was thoroughly impressed. It's been a couple weeks and I'm still impressed by it.

                        • Anonymous

In solo Apoc I was consistently saved from the grab by a combination of the Handler's Dog, the Summoner's Root Flyers, and the tentacles from the Rootlash mod.

                          • Anonymous

if it helps, I've found that staggering hits, like Challenger's stomp and Concussive shot will knock her out of the animation for the bullshit grab in phase 2.

Not sure it works in multiplayer, but in single player I basically just prepped one of these for the 3rd attack in her cycle, and blasted her across the room. Very satisfying.

Way way way too much hp makes this fight super boring, I fought her on apocalypse (2nd playthrough) and I run out of ammo with full dps nightfall build, can't imagine doing this with other weapons/builds. First phase doesn't have anything interesting going on, just dodge the crystals that she keeps spamming and maybe sometimes she does the slam. Second phase is a bit better, but you can easily get one shot and you have to do first phase again. It's not even hard, just not fun.

                              • Anonymous

Boss was really difficult at first but has a great learning curve. I realized you can dodge the particles in phase 1 just by side-stepping or running to the side. When she charges at you, you want to dodge towards her to the left and then do another dodge away so the AoE slam doesn't hit you. I found phase 2 to be easier to learn, she has a 3-hit combo so dodge all of them then punish. Also stay away from the walls to not get grabbed or it's game over!

Beat her on Veteran at World power 21. Also a blast to play in co-op, think she's my favorite boss for being both intensely difficult but also learnable.

Fought her on Apocalypse with the Drain and Hearty suffixes. Even after the patch that makes her grab not kill you instantly, getting drained for 90% health and having her regen 1/4 of her whole health bar was a baaaaad time

So many people complaining about so many bosses in this game... try elden, bloodborne, DS they all have 1 shot bosses or extremely difficult encounters get good or don't play lol. The game is fantastic.

                                    • Anonymous

particularly unfun in apocalypse, whether solo or not mine had hearty and regen and it really blows. Her ice attacks one shot and her melee combo can kill you from full like most things on the difficulty.
However, my sole problem is that she is just too tanky like certain bosses on this difficulty. I get that making things harder to kill is a part of it, but im at the point where nightfall is legit the only weapon actually usable without some ammo build or consumable stuff solely because of its infinite ammo and ok damage. I like the coachgun and crescent moon and other weapons but unfortunately things can take up to 5x your total ammo to kill depending on modifiers.
Im even running archon with it and i still struggle on ammo after just unloading mag after mag, unleashing mod after mod. Maybe i should just use the damn ammo boxes and pick an actually fun weapon instead
I know im fuming but its really frustrating that I fight her pretty well but just barely not well enough so I still lose because make 1 mistake after around 10 minutes of fighting her and im dead.
I'm running the regen ring, rerouting cable, black cat (obv), zanias malice, and the samoflange so i can atleast get away with 1 mistake or troll sometimes, armor really doesnt make a difference for hard bosses like her so maybe i should go below heavy and just lose fashion for the stats. I just dont get why she is insanely tanky (besides hearty) or maybe my build sucks somehow idk
Id recommend engineer impact turret for summons, and the firestorm mod is honestly kind of broken op except in this fight. DO NOT ATTACH IT TO HER. Her charging attack where she rapidly dashes to you and slams will make you kill yourself guaranteed with the mod unless you have godmode or really outrange it somehow.

                                      • Getting the heartless kill took a while, but it really just comes down to 10% her moveset, 90% understanding how to dodge her grab attack in Phase 2. She will generally do the grab attack 1 time each time she attacks for a round(before she crawls away and appears somewhere else). You will be dealing with this A LOT more if she is heartless in Phase 2, as she will stop summoning bugs, and only focus on attacking you nonstop between rounds. Once you learn to perfect dodging her Dream Thief/Grab attack, you really see just how easy this fight is.

*I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FIGHTING HER WITH MEDIUM TO LIGHT GEAR!!* The small faceplant dodge you get from heavy armor will almost never be enough to dodge the attack.
                                        1) All of her attacks are easily dodgable as you learn her behaviors and moveset. I recommend just practicing dodging on her for a while before you make the big attempt for the Heartless Kill. Mainly to perfect the Grab Attack dodge, which should be forward for melee, backwards for ranged.
                                        2) She will generally do about 5-6 separate attacks before she vanishes, one of them will be the grab attack that will ruin your run if you get caught in it. Her other big hitter is the lunge attack with the iceballs. This is easily front dodged by a melee character, and a side dodge for ranged. It happens fairly quickly, but you will see the ice balls summon, and then she will stand up very straight, then lunge. This CAN be a oneshot attack depending on your gear, so best avoid it.
                                        3) All of her abilities are dodgable, best front and side for melee characters, with side or backwards for ranged.
                                        4) Like I said, 90% of this fight is based on timing the Grab Attack, known as Dream Thief. This has a VERY BIG range, much larger than it looks on screen. Trying to side dodge this is you are too close WILL get you grabbed everytime, as it seems to pretty much ignore invulnerability frames. This should ALWAYS be dodged forwardly by melee, and backwards by ranged. Forward will get you behind her, which will make it miss, backwards will be much more forgiving with the invulnerability frames.
                                        5) Her Dream Thief/Grab attack seems VERY unfair and unforgiving as you are trying to learn it, because you will really will feel like you get grabbed 9/10 times, even when you feel you dodged it. But once you learn how to identify the windup to this attack, you will be able to dodge it all day long.
                                        6) Dream Thief - You will hear the typical "ding" sound that you hear with all bosses when they are about to do a crazy attack that is usually an instakill.
She will then move forward a few feet(Which usually closes the gap too much for a side dodge), She will then flash a blue color about 1 second after the "ding," she will stand up VERY
STRAIGHT while this blue flash goes off, and then she will attack.

**DO NOT DODGE BEFORE YOU SEE THE BLUE FLASH AND HER STANDING UP STILL AND COMPLETELY STRAIGHT!!** This WILL result in you getting grabbed 9/10 times if
you do be fore then. Mostly everyone will dodge the moment they hear the "ding," but it will be too early, and she will most likely nab you, unless you dodged behind her. Even then, she
has sometimes done a complete 180 and grabbed someone. If you do the dodge immediately when you see her flash blue and stand up completely straigt, you will see how easy it
actually is to dodge. And you can sit there all day walking circles around her.

*SO REMEMBER - "DING", SHE TAKES TWO STEPS FORWARD, BLUE FLASH/UPRIGHT STANCE, NOW DODGE!!*

Don't understand all the complaining about the instakill (that's not even an instakill unless you don't have enough health) - just stay away from the walls and you don't have to worry about it

                                          • phase 1:
                                            - you can side step her projectiles even while still aiming if you have +45% footwork trait, just stand still until theyre somewhere in the middle
                                            - while shes summoning you can deal more dmg and walk back, she might crawl towards you and kill her minions on the way
                                            - you can roll over her minions to kill them, just make sure they arent spread around too much

First of all, her grab isn't insta kill. Only if you have too less health. Use traitpoints+Mudtooth+ring. And in second phase watch your health after passing 50% boss health. Second thing is, have aoe (Enigma or anything like that) for the add phases ready. And last but not least, her stomp is delayed. Don't panicroll after she charges at you . Dodge the charge attack, wait 1 second and then dodge out of the stomp attack. If you panicroll, she will hit you every time, because the roll isn't far enough to get out of range! This boss is hard, but fair. Learning the patterns is mandatory. I'll take this kind of boss over every bulletsponge-addspawn-boss from part one!

This has to be one of the WORST designed game elements I have ever encountered. Maybe it is me? but after 35 tries with/without allies this feels impossible. It is my last zone, in my LAST world and I have managed everything on Veteran with some degree of challenge. I have been stuck on this absolute **** for 4+ hours.

                                                  • Anonymous

Pure Bullshit Boss. I am Hunter solo and cant kill her. Got her as my first world boss and already did 60 tries. Busted and overtuned. If I get hit by all 3 crystals, 70% of my health is gone. If I get hit by the ground slam attack, 60% of my health is gone. **** this boss.

Summoner And Dogo class allow you to make her instant kill thing irrelevant since your summons can save you by hitting her when she grabs you

                                                      • Anonymous

I love the aesthetics of the boss and enjoy the area, I HATE the fight, The grab instakill however is the worst mechanic in this game. Funny enough though if you happen to cast the healing shield skill the Medic has the shield/health outlasts the instakill grab damage and allows you to live. It's kinda cool that the skill can do that but that doesnt take away how bs this boss is, if not for playing solo and learning that by complete accident I dont think I would have beaten her

                                                        • Anonymous

For the alternate drop: Nightweaver's Finger, you have to break her heart in Phase 1 (when she stops to summon exploding bugs, her heart is exposed, the window is rather narrow so focus the heart and try to dodge the bugs). IT IS NOT REQUIRED TO ALSO BREAK HER HEART IN PHASE 2: if you avoid every grab attack in phase 2, she won't regenerate her heart, and you'll get the alternate drop. IF UNSURE, check if boss has a teal/blueish hue: that's the visual indicator that her heart is broken (happens in phase 1 too).

                                                          • Anonymous

Ok, so the command grab - you CAN mash E out of it, it just doesn't show the prompt. it's not a 'fill the bar' type of mash, it's a 'tug o war' type of mash. you need to be faster than the invisible bar drains for a certain period of time for it to work. you kick her off, loose only like 1/5 health, and she doesn't get the health regen from it.

                                                            • I recommend doing the alt kill (shooting her heart until it dies) in survivor difficulty as it doesn't really affect the reward at all. I also highly recommend doing her alt kill solo because if she sucks the soul out of you or your teammates with a grab attack she gains her heart back. This makes shooting her heart even harder since the only time you can shoot her heart in second phase she is constantly releasing exploding ads.

The best method I found is shooting her heart out in the first phase then doing dps and not getting grabbed in the second phase. Again, Its easier if she can only grab one player instead of three, along with having less health since there would be no increase with no other players in your session. Anyways hope this helps someone out there struggling with the alt kill for this boss. Doing this on veteran with two other players made this fight infinitely harder. Goodluck Gamers <3

Game bugged compeltely after i got killed by the instakill grab with a thaen fruit buff active. Still died and couldn't move afterward and had to restart the game

                                                                  Kinda lame.

                                                                  • Anonymous

                                                                    • Anonymous

I've dodged late and been across the room only to be teleported into her instakill even though I had visually escaped.

I love the concept and the haunted house phase 2 but those instakills sour it for me.

                                                                      • Anonymous

                                                                        • Anonymous

YaYa git gud. Just two phases with insta kills because you don't dodge perfectly (lag, block, stamina gone whatever) is so time consuming (it's not optional), it just feels so damn bad, I want to put it down.

                                                                          • Anonymous

Total ***** fight only because of the instant kill grabs. Majority of the walls around you are possible instant kills.
The standard grab has a warning ding but can be preformed alone or after any attack and will land on early rolls. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to break the grab reliably outside of external attacks (players/summons) **** the alternative kill.

                                                                            • For the alternative kill, you need to destroy her heart while she's summoning scarabs in the first phase (unsure if this can be achieved on the second one). In this "heartless" form, she'll be glowing teal/cyan, and she'll be more aggressive with her grab attacks. She won't disappear to summon scarabs anymore, but below a certain health threshold (I think about 75%), she'll summon a few scarabs while re-emerging.

Her heart seems to have a separate HP value, making it possible to end the first phase without destroying the heart if you go full DPS on her, so it's advisable to idle a little bit, waiting for another summon cycle to properly destroy her heart without ending the first phase first.

If she manages to grab anyone with her grab attack, her heart will be healed / reformed. This doesn't apply to the wall grabs as far as I can tell, but since wall attacks have no save anyway, stay away from walls and be sure to dodge her grab attack. Didn't notice anything else about the fight. You'll be rewarded with a crafting material which you can use to craft a melee weapon called Nightshade.

                                                                              • Anonymous

Makes no sense that if you destroy her heart in the first phase and she grabs you inside the asylum she somehow regenerates it and you wont get the drop for the claws instead of the long gun. Don't know if its a glitch or intentional it just doesn't seem right to me

                                                                                • Anonymous

So oddly enough I guess my fight bugged out, when I went and fought her, she didn't enter a second phase, she just died once she hit 0 and I got her loot while still outside.

                                                                                  • Anonymous

One of the two / three (two of them being the alternate version of the other, Faelin and Faerin) possible world boss in Losomn. If your run starts at Morrow Parrish, she's the end boss, while the Palace Courtyard will send you to the other two.

Breaking her heart (only possible while she's summoning adds) will make her glow and, from what I gathered, stops her from summoning more adds until she manages a grab to regen her heart. On Nightmare and above, a grab is pretty much a death sentence anyway. Having her heart broken will award the alternate drop.

P1 is pretty simple, sidestep the ice projectile, don't get too close to avoid her huge melee hit and when she scream, rise in the air and crawl toward you, just dodge through her. After that, sprint opposite of her, listen to the high pitched sound to perfect dodge the slam (or do it like 1-2 sec after your first dodge). When she summons stuff, just either shoot her heart for more damage (at the risk of a worst reward) or focus the adds. If you defeated the Red Prince, the fire tornado is excellent during that time. Just NEVER, EVER, shoot the fire tornado projectile on her, since if you do, it'll follow her (and you'll die when she'll crawl toward you).

P2, stick to the main hall and stay away from the walls whenever she disappear, or she'll grab and OHKO you. When she leaves to summon adds at around 66% and 33%, you can either just wait to find where the adds are coming from and go focus them (you don't want to wait, have her come back and have waves of small exploding adds coming while she's back), shooting her in the process, or if you have the Fire Tornado, you can just rush to her location, shoot the tornado under her on the floor and then spray your magazine on her while the adds just die on spawn. If she crawls toward you, rise a bit while flashing blue (there'll be a sound, too), dodge it or you'll get grabbed, pretty much die and regen her heart (if destroyed).

                                                                                    • Anonymous

So after breaking her heart she adopts a blue tint to her. However, I noticed it disappeared during her second phases after a successful grab against me and for the remainder of the fight she remained like she normally is. Her drops after we’re also the silks so it may be that getting grabbed in her second phase negates the heart breaking? That or it’s just a bug, idk.

                                                                                      • Anonymous

I don't want to turn the difficulty down, but I was thinking maybe pumping a lot of points into fitness for the first phase? Does that perk give you extra iframes or is it just distance? Either way, would be good to get some distance away from this thing when it sprints towards you and then dive-bombs the ground. I can't seem to avoid it

                                                                                        • Anonymous

By an order of magnitude. Is this a bonus sort of boss that only appears on subsequent playthroughs or adventure mode? Good luck to anyone encountering this on their first playthrough if that's not the case

I started off in the palace for an example yet i keep hearing folk saying they started somewhere else and had this be their first boss in the world.

For solo players, destroying the heart while she summons might be impossible due to the fact that the minions will group suicide into you and are very fast. Also, even if you can stagger her in close range, the rain attack will destroy you. Worth mentioning, too, that she usually follwos up on the lunge with the slam - basically true comboing you if the lunge hits. But the slam si likely to hit, anyways, as the diameter seems to be like ten meters. I never ONCE managed to evade it. Oh, just run away then ? How, when you have to dodge the flunge first ? Most importantly, the ice spikes are like seeking missiles and cannot be blocked by some of the cover provided, arcing around beautifully. Pair that with a extremely fast, flying boss with quick doges and you know why I feel liek rerolling my campaign right now. Had some speed bumps, but just as I started to feel confident, being stuck with THIS as my first world boss just sucks. My fault for chosing veteran, eh ?

Warning, sometimes, when one of the fences/walls in the first phase is destroyed, it may leave an invisible wall in it's place.

                                                                                                        • Anonymous

Just finished the boss (thank god i don't wanna redo this again), destroying her heart DOES give the finger only if you don't get grabbed in the second phase, destroying her heart will work in both phases but she will regenerate her heart if you get grabbed. if you're not confident with the dodging i strongly recommend the Ring of diversion.
if anyone is wondering, her heart becomes vulnerable in phase two when she summons her minions (like in phase one), she'll float and the heart will be glowing.
also note this, the DIE HARD passive does not activate if she grabs you and you die from it, even if it's not on cooldown, i leanrt this the hard way.
hope this helps, stay strong lads.

In phase 2 she has a grab attack if you're too close to a wall, and it can one shot you at full health[At least 115 health] and has a second grab attack if you destroy her heart, in which she regains her heart, and some of her health.

                                                                                                            • Anonymous

Destroying her heart doesn't seem to change the drop. Not sure if its a bug or not but even if you kill her normally without breaking the hear you still get the same drop

                                                                                                              • Anonymous

I'm not sure if you can destroy her heart again in the second phase.

She took me to the dream world and I killed her again (the heart regenerated at some point?) and I didn't get credit. May need to expound a bit more on the requirements for the finger.
