Bosses in Remnant 2 are special Enemies that players will encounter in the game. Unlike normal Enemies, Bosses have greater health, deal more damage and possess unique moves and abilities. When playing online multiplayer or locally with friends, these boosts in health and damage may be greater and unique mechanics more intricate. Alongside common resources, when defeated, Bosses often drop specific Items used for crafting and upgrading Weapons. Once more information is known, this page will be updated with all the information on strengths, weaknesses, boss drops, and so on for Remnant 2 Bosses

  • NEW! Added The Awakened King DLC Bosses to the list!
  • NEW! Free Boss Rush mode added with The Dark Horizon DLC (Sept 24, 2024).

Aberrations in Remnant 2

Aberrations are Mini-Bosses, more powerful versions of common enemies, that are more resilient and deal more damage than their regular counterparts. They spawn named and with several suffixes that modify their stats and behavior, and they drop Mutators on death. They can be found in all Locations across the game and are recognized by their characteristic red glow effect.

Boss Rush Mode in Remnant 2

You will have the option to play the mode either solo or with fellow Travelers via multiplayer. Choose from the three difficulty options (Triple Threat (a three-boss run), Trial by Fire (a seven-boss run) and The Gauntlet (a nineteen-boss run), and put your survival skills to the test. The goal is simple yet extremely challenging: Successfully fight hordes of enemies, including an Aberration, to go up against bosses in the run to earn the elusive drops, including weapons, that you’ve been missing. Along the way, you will earn temporary buffs during the run that grant stat bonuses and/or powerful passive bonuses as well that will prove to be helpful.

there is an aberration version of those armored axe-wielding root enemies in yaesha. He waited for me outside the puzzle tower after i picked up the slayer ring and went down the elevator. sadly i died and when i got back there he wouldn't respawn even when i tried to go the elevator up and down, so i don't know what he drops.
I also encountered an aberration of those blue teleporting flyers in the infested abyss dungeon

Imagine...just imagine the horror: a boss fight where you fight Annihilation and ShaHala boss together in one room. I can already see photosensitive epilepsy attack coming. lol

        • Anonymous

Venom on apocalypse with Regenerator and Trapper (the death puddles were basically instadeath if you didnt roll completely out of them) was NO JOKE.

          • Anonymous

What's the point? I've beat the final boss. And my squad has ran the game a few other times after that. Only beat the final boss once on each players world, but why continue? Sure we haven't got all the weapons or armors but other then collecting stuff it has lost all replay value for me. Or am I missing something?

Cloner and displacer are the most annoying ass suffixes in the game. Not the HARDEST mind you but the most annoying.

              • Anonymous

Try beating Custodian's Eye on Apoc with the Skullcracker and Trapper suffixes. YOU...CANNOT...DODGE...ANYTHING...in boss fight that DEMANDS dodging. Tell me Gunfire playtests this **** and I'll LAUGH MY ASS OFF.

                • Anonymous

People in here still complaining about trapper and cubes. Meanwhile my ass still says shocking is the worst suffix on ANYTHING.

                  • Anonymous

The Cloner perk with Teleporing Enmies that also spawn adds is a combination made in hell. This game was bever playtested and it shows

                    • Anonymous

Thunderpiercer and Gorecarver. I think this are the aberrations of the two brothers that lived in lighthouse. One invented the chainsaw and the other shotgun (Sparkfire Shotgun). At least that is my opinion on the lore in Lighthouse area dungeon.

                      • Anonymous

Cubes is the WORST suffix to ever be added and Trapper might be just as bad maybe even worse. Honestly at this point the game is failing to be a soulslike and is becoming a bullethell. If they want to turn the game into Devil May Cry why not just lose the stamina system and rebalance based around that? Stamina only existed in older souls games to balance out the stupidity of enemies with your character. Now bosses and enemies in this genre are getting more and more like a Ninja Gaiden enemy to the point that the stamina system is more of a build hindrance.

                        • Anonymous

Shocking screws up dodge timing. You will either get hit by the attack you are trying to dodge or the shock. It never should have been added.

                          • Anonymous

I truly wish that Gunfire had NEVER brought back skullcracker. It is the ONLY suffix I consider to be BS. It turns even the lightest chip attacks a boss has into hardcore run ending BS. Skullcracker was unbalanced and unfair in the first Remnant and it is just as BS here.

                            • Anonymous

Honestly I don't have a problem with any of the suffixes themselves. My problem is that some of them should not be on certain bosses and some of them should never be together.

                              • Anonymous

Shocking is the worst suffix. Unpredictable random lightning bolts makes some fights IMPOSSIBLE. I don't mean harder I mean literally IMPOSSIBLE. It is the only suffix that should be removed from the game.

                                • Anonymous

Gotta love how any true melee weapon is literally incapable of hitting half the bosses.

"buH iSSA GAeM mAID FoR GunS"

Is it really that hard to make ranged based bosses that can also be consistantly melee'd? Different behaviour and/or attacks if the player gets close perhaps?

Or if even that's too much just add a reasonably lenghty melee window to otherwise unreachable bosses. Some great examples of this are normal Sha'Hala's hands and... well... that's literally it.

                                  • Anonymous

got executioner with skullcracker and displacement once. he once shot my challenger at max hp, and pretty much every stackable defense buff there is....

                                    • Anonymous

The Boss fights are soooo ****ing badly designed, that i would love to get my money back for this garbage

                                      • Anonymous

Met a boss with both Unstoppable and Minions Suffix, Minions made him spawn ads and Im pretty sure Unstoppable made him immune to stagger

                                        • Anonymous

Why is Abomination an Abberation, while E.D. Alpha is a boss? Abom is clearly un-corrupted, while E.D. is.

                                          • Anonymous

I got the Empathy Suffix on magister dullain..... turned it into the hardest boss fight in the game. fml man.. on solo nightmare this is almost impossible.

                                            • Anonymous

There's a flying boss called "Mantagora" in Yaesha, I spotted it in the Imperial Gardens high up in the sky.
It has very little health compared to other bosses but you get very few chances to shoot it at any time so killing it takes a while.
When killed it drops the "Momentum" Mutation.

some dude on a horse jumped me and killed me, something eternal despair? I tried to find him again and hes gone now?

                                                • Anonymous

There seems to be a "secret" boss here called the mantagora. It has a boss health bar and flies around the map of one of the areas here.
