The Progeny is an Aberration in Remnant 2. This one is an Aberration, the corrupted version of a Slug Parasite. Bosses are the ultimate Enemies as they present a more challenging battle than Enemies or “Elite” Enemies, they are usually found guarding special locations or items, and some of them are important to the Lore and main Story of the game.

Remnant 2 The Progeny Strategy Writeup
It's a faster, more resilient and more damaging version of a Slug Parasite, it has no special attacks of note. Be sure to dodge and aim to its weakpoint while being mindful of the Robot Grunts in the surrounding area. If you keep the fight to its spawn point, you can avoid some robots in the back of the room.
Attacks & Counter

| Melee Lunge: After a brief wind up it will throw itself at you using its tentacles to impale you. | Be mindful of the wind up to not miss the dodge, you should wait a second to time it right. |
| Melee Sweep: It will roar and then make an attack horizontally covering a wide but short range space in front of it. | Dodge backwards to avoid the sweep. |
| Cross Claws: After seemingly standing up and exposing its belly for a second, it will attack at short range, slashing in front. | The exposed belly does not award any bonus damage so keep shooting at the head, you can mantain your distance to avoid it since it's very short range. |

I encountered him in the Void Vessel Facility - in the back with the black jug like containers on the walls, red glow and grated floors with holes.
