Robot Grunt is an Enemy in Remnant 2. Robot Grunts are a part of the basic defense system deployed across N'Erud, guarding their area with long range weaponry. Enemies are hostile creatures that inhabit the different realms that you'll encounter, each enemy has its own unique style and set of attacks that players will need to encounter. Killing different types of enemies will drop different types of items.
Remnant 2 Robot Grunt Information
- Race: N'Erud Robots
- Weakness: There are 2 glowing weak spots located within the openings of the armor on sides of its torso. (possibly its sensors or heat sinks)
- Attacks:
- Energy Projectiles: As their main form of defense, they fire their weapon in burst of up to three shots.
- Shock Bomb: The Robot Grunt can charge its weapon and shoot a large sphere of electricity. Inflicts the OVERLOADED status effect.
- When possessed by a Specter, each shot fires multiple projectiles, and their Shock Bomb leaves a damaging area that lingers.

- N'Erud Wastes 1 (near entrances to Locations in the Towers of N'Erud)
- N'Erud Wastes 2 (during enemy ambushes and near entrances to Locations in the Towers of N'Erud)

- Vault of the Formless (during the final encounter)

their melee comes out very fast when you close distance and it one-shots even with full barkskin and vigor trait if in anything less than heavy armor on nightmare difficulty. I'm not sure if it's a glitch because they were nothing on veteran, but they have absolutely awful scaling in my nightmare campaign.

These things are bastards. Far too many of them spawn on the ambushes and you cannot clear them in time if a Sentinel or ED Alpha is in front. Absolute nightmare in solo play.

Actual weakness: The cooling vents on the chest chassis. They glow with circuitry.
These guys are definitely weak to electric elemental damage.
