Phantom Wasteland is a Location in Remnant 2. Phantom Wasteland is a bone gray desert plagued by drones on the surface of N'Erud and one of the many places that can be explored in Remnant 2Each Location in Remnant 2 will feature unique landscapes, events, dungeons, Bosses, Enemies, and Items.

 

Remnant 2 Phantom Wasteland Info

 The Phantom Wasteland is the first overworld of Storyline: Seeker's Keys. It is found after exiting Seeker's Rest

As with all the overworld areas of N'Erud, Phantom Wasteland is an open space surrounded by a thick wall of fog. Entering this fog will repeatedly force players into a vomiting animation and start to build up the FOG CONTAMINATION blight. Once the bar reaches full, the player instantly dies, bypassing any kind of resurrection effects.

Unlike most overworld areas, the field location here is not randomized, and will instead always be Ascension Spire. There, players may meet with The Custodian, in order to learn more about the storyline.

At the very top of the map, players will find a massive locked gate leading to Sentinel's Keep; opening it is the objective of the storyline.

Remnant 2 Phantom Wasteland Walkthrough

 After making first contact with The Custodian in Seeker's Rest, he beckons you towards a tower with a glowing orb. This tower, Ascension Spire, is located here in the wasteland, and can be seen in the northern distance.

On your way there, roughly at the halfway point, you can find a random optional location on the western world border. If the optional dungeon happens to be The Dark Conduit, the Supply Ship event will also take place in the Phantom Wasteland.

At the Ascension Spire you will find a worldstone, as well as the Custodian's avatar. He will task you with collecting the remaining Seeker's Keys to unlock the door to the Core Tower, Sentinel's Keep.
The Spire also holds a number of secrets.

To finish your quest, you must complete the first boss area of your run. It will be located in the east of Ascension Spire, and will be either The Hatchery or The Putrid Domain. The location will reward you with another Seeker's Key and leads you into the second overworld of this run, Timeless Horizon.

Returning from Timeless Horizon

 Progressing through Timeless Horizon will lead you through the second boss area, granting the third and final Seeker's Key. The exit returns you to the Phantom Wasteland, unlocking a door that was previously impassable.

You will find yourself in the northern part of the area, already close to the Core Tower checkpoint. Insert your three keys into the contraption at the gate, completing the full set of five. You may now enter Sentinel's Keep to complete the storyline.
