Remnant 2 Council Chamber Walkthrough

The Fae Council Event

The Fae Council is composed of three members, called Savan, Oniril, and Nyele. When first met, The Council ask players where are they from, noting they are not Fae. You can ask them about Clementine, but only Nyele will be interested in helping you. Players can decide to help them with their trouble, and they will explain that the One True King has been usurped by an Imposter, with help from one of the three members of the council. However, they do not know which one of them has helped the Imposter. Players will have to traverse the level to find the evidence. Eventually, and reach a mirror. Interacting with it sends the players to the Council Tribunal, a dark mirror image of the Council Chambers. Here, players must complete a puzzle to claim the evidence they need: the Assassin Dagger. Once acquired, they can return to the Council.

Accusing the Right Conspirator

When accusing a member, you will have to present proof to back up your claim. You need to present the Assassin Dagger. There are three versions of this item and depending on the description you will realize which one of the three members of the council actually used it. Each member is associated with an icon.

  • Savan: A small, teal jewel is set into the hilt, carved with an ornate diamondlike crest.
  • Oniril: A small, red jewel is set into the hilt, carved with a symbol that looks like an eye.
  • Nyele: A small, purple jewel is set into the hilt carved with an elegant, mirrored flowerlike symbol.

If you make it right, the traitor will be punished and instantly killed by the other two. You receive the Ornate Blade as a gift.

Accusing the Wrong Conspirator, or deciding to battle the Council

If you decide to make a wrong accusation, or simply do not present your evidence, all three of them will start to fight.

In combat, all three council members behave like Fae Golden Knights, rapidly switching between ranged and melee attacks, inflicting CURSE blight with either.

Once all three are defeated, you can obtain Fae Protector Signet and Scrap.

Note: This still requires the Assassin Dagger to be in your inventory. Giving it to Nimue locks you out of this reward, so wait until afterwards.

Finding Council Chamber in Losomn

Many players struggle to roll the Council Chamber. Finding this Location can take multiple tries, as it is possible to not have it spawn during your Losomn campaign.

The following is the best way, so far, to find the Council Chamber:

  1. Re-roll adventure mode under Losomn until you get the Beatific Palace
  2. Go to the Jester and interact with him to unlock the Magic Quill
  3. Open and enter one of the following doors, now accessible thanks to the Magic Quill
    1. The door located next to the Jester
    2. The door located upstairs, in the library, after jumping across some book shelves
  4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 until you find the Council Chamber

Finding it on the Forlorn Coast in The Awakened King DLC requires players to complete the Dran boss area and reach the Mournful Promenade, as the Fae boss area can only appear in the cave underneath the One True King's Palace.

Injectibles

Locations in Fae Palaces will randomly contain one of the following rooms:

15+ re-rolls and I still can't get this place to spawn in. I'm beginning to question if it even exists.

Is the chance to get this place just lower than the others for some reason or is my luck really that bad?

Dagger: reroll adventure with the first crystal is at the palace courtyard, where you see a fancy gates with two face mask key holes & a lever. (the map where your find jester)

While you still have the dagger, you can accuse a council member without using it as evidence, allowing you to give it to Nimue after.

For me the main world for council chamber was initially 'dark'.
Going through the mirror and returning changed the main world from dark to light.
Not sure if it has any significance, could just be a bug.

It does not take 3 runs to get all the rewards. As long as you craft the dagger after fighting the council it should only take 2.

That executioner was a uber pain to deal with in Apocalypse in that tight hall space and sludge water to get through.
I had hearty, displacer, and skull cracker. Very tough.

Flame puzzle rewards possibilities are white stamp (ring: reduce mod power requirement by 10%)
or the black stamp (ring: reduce skill CD by 10%)

Just got the Flames Event here, the one where you have to match the colors of the flames and get the White or Black stamp.

For those trying to roll this place in adventure mode.
Reroll till you get the Palace Courtyard > Find the Jester and watch their dance till they give you the quill > Go around and check the doorways the quill draws till you get the Council Chamber.
If the doors around don't lead to the Council Chamber just reroll the adventure world and repeat.

                        • I just got softlocked out of completing the quest because I crafted the assassin's dagger from Nimue before accusing a member of the council. Don't know if this is a bug or if others have experienced it as well.

                          • Anonymous

To complete quest you only need to collect dagger from Kings head, craft sword and chose right/wrong suspect.
Section with Executioner is not necessary (for example in my playthrough the was no such section at any location)

One correction about the secret passage, it can be in any map that has the fae pallace tileset, I was re-rolling to get the fae hunter ring and encoutered the paint secret passage in at least 3 different maps, all leading to the executioner

I used the Assassins Dagger to craft a weapon at nimue before showing it to the council, looks like i got softlocked with them

The ring reward seems significantly better than the sword. The encumberance reduction is along with a bit of hp and stamina is simply too good to pass up.
