The Awakened King DLC Review

What to Expect from Remnant 2 The Awakened King

The DLC is focused on Losomn, following the events after you dethrone the Faelin/Faerin. Diverging from the base Locations of the game, the DLC's biome is more static, giving space to the developers for improving the storytelling aspect of the game. Dungeons will still be heavily randomized and we are expecting at least 3–5 hours of gameplay. There is a new Archetype called "The Ritualist", even though there is not much information about it yet, it apparently focuses on buffs/debuffs and status effects.

Remnant 2 DLC One Shot

Introduced by the DLC, when starting The Awakened King Storyline you will be notified that the biome containing it is more static and less randomized than the usual locations in the game. When rerolling the location again, it will randomize more heavily its Events and Dungeons, and will also mix Dungeons and Events from the base game into it.

How to access The Awakened King DLC?

Once players have acquired The Awakened King DLC, they can start the new content immediately by selecting Adventure Mode by touching the World Stone. If it is the first time they access the new content, a prompt on screen will tell players that this is a One Shot adventure. This means that it is crafted with unique content tailored from that specific adventure. In this case, this means only content from The Awakened King. However, this can only be done once, and the second time it is done, the content will be randomized.

On the other hand, if players want to access The Awakened King DLC while playing the campaign, they have to play through Losomn and the main storyline players get will be random. Meaning that there is a chance that they will have to reroll it a few times in order to obtain this specific content.

Important notes regarding accessing the DLC:
  • If players are playing Remnant 2 for the first time, have the DLC and want to access it, they first MUST reach Ward 13 to interact with the World Stone. Until that moment, players won't be able to select adventure mode.
  • Currently, PS5 and Ultimate Edition Owners are having trouble accessing the content. Devs are working hard to fix this as soon as possible.

I bought the ultimate edition for PS5, I’m in the awakened king dlc on adventure mode One Shot, in the Forlorn Coast when I try to zone into the first dungeon or into the Sunken Haunt it loads for a few seconds, then kicks me back to the Forlorn Coast Starting pylon instead of progressing. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a way to report an error?

they should gave us the dlc full content for every run we decide the dlc, and blend the rest into lossom, if i do a new char, is the dlc then reset to only dlc. or isnt that the case?

There's also a new amulet that decreases skill cooldown n increases skill damage, found as random world drop in N'erud

There are also Two relics. Paper Heart and Broken Heart. Could be more, but that's what I've found so far.
