Elowen is a NPC in Remnant 2. Elowen is a female Dran found crying and sitting on the ground, while hidden away. She claims she hears sinister voices. NPCs in Remnant 2 interact with players in different ways, and depending on the player choices, may be pacific or hostile towards them, defy them or even give them rewards to allow them, or even sell them equipment or Items, acting as Merchants.

Remnant 2 Elowen Quest

Elowen and the Befouled Altar

Elowen can be found visibly perturbed of the voices she hears. There is a note nearby that details how she was abandoned by a friend or a lover because of this situation.

After players find and defeat both of the Befouled Altars, returning to Elowen will see her transform into the Cursed Wretch, an Aberration. Once you kill her, you obtain the Guts Mutator, which, when equipped on a melee weapon, increases Melee Critical Chance by 5% when grey health is present.
