The Flautist is an NPC in Remnant 2. The Flautist is a mysterious character that gives the player directions to certain Bosses. NPCs in Remnant 2 interact with players in different ways, and depending on the player choices, may be passive or hostile towards them, defy them or even give them rewards to allow them, or even sell them equipment or Items, acting as Merchants.

In The Forbidden Grove he can be found next to the Water Harp

Remnant 2 The Flautist Quest

The Flautist is an npc who will appear on your playthrough of Yaesha. He will direct you to either the Corrupted Ravager or the Corruptor, world bosses of this location.
You can figure out the main storyline based on the very first zone on your arrival to Yaesha: if you start on The Red Throne, you'll be drived to The Corruption of the Thaen Storyline. If the first area is The Forbidden Grove, you'll face the The Doe and The Ravager Storyline.

If you're looking for a different storyline you can roll a new Adventure mode from the Ward 13 crystal.

After raising the bridge, if you return to the water harp you can hear the Flautist playing a new tune. If you put the new tune into the water harp you get the Bolt Driver. If you then talk to the flautist after you do the secret water harp he gives you the Scroll Of Binding.
