Leywise is a Merchant in Remnant 2. Leywise is an exclusive merchant added with The Awakened King DLC. He is disguising as a dran, and after interacting with him a few times, you can access his shop. Merchants are NPCs that provide various services to players. Players will be able to trade Items and gear such as Armor, Weapons, as well as upgrade, and craft materials.
What happened to the Dran who owned these? Why ever would you want to know that?
Leywise Information
- Leywise can be found besides a cooking pot, looking extremely worried and occupied.
- He denies the player when he is being interacted on. Players must interact with him a few times in order to initiate conversation.
- He says he is the former Royal Scribe of the One True King, and is disguising himself as a dran.
- He took his garments from a Dran, alongside his possessions. If players equip the Zealot's Set he mentions it.
- If players kill The One True King, they can tell him about it, he states that he will return to the castle and the Fae will govern themselves as they are free from the king's shackles.
- If players insist on giving Feast Master's Leftovers to Leywise, he will eventually accept your offer and grant the White Glass Bead.
Where to find Leywise in Remnant 2
He can be found in the The Awakened King storyline, thus being exclusive to the first premium DLC. He can't be found in the base game.
Leywise Related Quests
Retrieve Scribe's Tome
- The Misplaced Memoir can be found while traveling through Losomn, and once players acquire it, they can return it back to Leywise. He will grant players the amulet Index of the Scribe.
Retrieve Bookbound Medallion
- If players find Misplaced Memoir, they can interact with it to reveal a medallion inside of it called Bookbound Medallion. It has the Scribe's sigil. Head back to Leywise and return it to receive Burden of the Sciolist.
- If players refuse to return the medallion the first time he asks, but do so the second time or any time after, he will give them the Ring of Infinite Damage instead.

AnonymousIf you tell him you have the Tome, then refuse to give it to him, then get the medallion and tell him you have the medallion, he gives a unique dialogue about you being an oaf opening his Tome. This locks you out of the News option where you tell him you found his lair though.

The Scribe's Tome is the name of the Misplaced Memoir before it's picked up off the ground. You can interact with the Misplaced Memoir (in your inventory) to receive the Bookbound Medallion.

If you get the Feast Master and mention Leywise he'll give you a quest item to give to Leywise, which leads to a ring if you insist he receives it.

Opening the door to his lair allows you to tell him about it and be rewarded with a hefty sum of scrap (866 in my playthrough)
