Mudtooth is a Merchant in Remnant 2. Merchants are NPCs that provide various services to players. Players will be able to trade Items and gear such as Armor, Weapons, as well as upgrade, and craft materials.
Only three reasons why folks come to see me, and that's my stories or my stew.
Remnant 2 Mudtooth Information
Mudtooth is the father of Brabus, and he likes to tell stories. Players have to hear a few of them before being able to actually interact with him.
Where to find Mudtooth in Remnant 2
He can be found in Ward 13, sitting next to Reggie. Players have to interact several times with him in order to be able to open his shop menu.

Remnant 2 Mudtooth Stories & Rewards
You can gain additional rewards from Mudtooth by following these instructions:
- Talk to Mudtooth and ask him about his stories, and repeat this multiple times (about 10 stories). Eventually Mudtooth will be thankful for your time and reward you with the Gunslinger's Ring.
- After completing the second world in your campaign you may repeat this process in order to earn the Gunslinger's Charm and/or Worn Cylinder.
- Exhaust all of Mudtooth set of dialogue and ask for his hat and you will receive Mudtooth's Hat.
Note: If you have preordered any of the three Remnant 2 versions for any platform, Gunslinger Archetype will be unlocked as a starting option, all items except Worn Cylinder will be obtainable.

If you can't get the Amulet/Cylinder - Go see the Keeper in Labyrinth after completing your second world. Then return to Ward 13 and Mudtooth will give you the items.

He wouldn't give me the items even after he said he was out of stories! However, I managed to get the items from him after swapping from Campaign mode to Adventure mode back to Campaign mode at the Ward 13 crystal, I just needed to ask him to tell me a story again after swapping game modes.

Ok to all who might have not gotten rewards from this old f@rt , i tried repeating his storys 10+ times nothing happen but after talking to his friend next to him and wasted his dialog fully i tried talking again to the old f@art and after 2/4ish story skips he gave me the amulet and cylinder

so for those wondering why they aren't getting the items, what worked for me is completely exiting his dialogue and then speaking to him again. you have to repeat the stories for the cylinder and then exit his dialogue again and then speak with him again and go back into stories.

This whole questline is broken BS. For starters making us listen to this guys rambling and hammer a ton of dialogue options dozens and dozens of times isn't fun or funny. This is a pattern in this game with numerous NPC's just rambling and dumping exposition on you.
Regardless this is also just plain broken for many of us, even after beating two worlds in my campaign and continuing to listen to this poorly designed cliche of an NPC he has not given me a single ring or amulet and I'm beginning to wonder if I need to delete my entire character and start over.
Horrible execution on this one.

Yeah he does not give a ****. Literally. He does not give me a cylinder, charm or ring. Yes I preordered, yes I've completed two worlds and I am in campaign mode. Yet I can't get none of them.
I've listened to this liar 4 times and the stories are all the same and on top of that he has not given me anything. What am I doing wrong? Because you cannot deny rings and charms just because I chose to start as Medic man ):

What the actual **** does it mean if we preorder we can't get the ring and the charm? Is this a bug? Are you kidding me? I just wanted to play early with my friends but I wouldnt have bought anything if I knew It would deny me two whole items forever.

Re: Preorder, this is not correct. You do need to exhaust his stories to get those items. I received the Worn Cylinder just now after listening (well, clicking through :) all stories.
The Anguish Dream dialogue needs to be added to him, he's supposed to give you something but I never get anything so it must be bugged.
