Atonement Fold is a Ring and accessory in Remnant 2. Atonement Fold is a ring lined with sharp spikes that causes immense pain and a steady trickle of blood while you wear it. Self-inflicts 1.1 bleed damage per second. Critical chance increases by 5%. It is a brand new Ring debuting in the Remnant 2 The Awakened King DLC
The currency of the Dran is blood and sorrow, and for those willing to pay, there is much to be gained. I am not personally an enthusiast of self-inflicted pain—nor any pain aimed at myself, for that matter—but I must admit there is something endlessly fascinating about these strange and grisly customs of theirs.

Remnant 2 Atonement Fold Location
Atonement Fold can be found at the following locations:
- Can be bought from Leywise in Forlorn Coast for x500 Scrap.
Leywise can be found besides a cooking pot, looking extremely worried and occupied. He denies the player when he is being interacted on. You need to break the cooking pot to get Lyywise's attention. After telling him, 'I want something crafted', he will explain that he does not do that because he is a Royal Scribe. After this, we can tell him that we want to buy something. Laywise will show us the Atonement Fold, which can be bought for 500 Scrap.

Remnant 2 Atonement Fold Notes & Trivia
- A ring lined with sharp spikes that causes immense pain and a steady trickle of blood while you wear it. It's a sacrifice of sorts just to put it on, and though you can't stand to wear it for long at risk of losing too much blood, something about the pain adds a sense of urgency and intensity to your every attack.
- Rings grant players diverse benefits once donned, up to 4 rings may be equipped at a time.

Needs a nerf, coming from someone who abuses it. The buff is already very strong, but coupled with Hardcore Metal Band and the fact that lifesteal isn't affected at all by bleeding heal reduction, you can take this, HMB, Regrowth to counter the bleed, and then shielded heart as a panic option and you get a massive boost to survivability on top of the absurd 10% free crit.
Remove the HMB interaction (then rework HMB because it is useless otherwise), then just make it 5% crit with a unique life drain that isn't bleed so it doesn't gimp your healing.

There's an interesting synergy between this and the Corrupted Savior. The mod power for the gun drains away after 2 seconds if you don't inflict damage but the damage doesn't need to come from the gun itself. Since you're constantly damaging yourself with the ring, you don't lose mod power.

The Bleed Status may be interesting for a specific build relying on negative status applied, but it cripples your healing received by 50%.
Risky if trying to implement this in like the Havoc Build for high crit chances.
At least avoiding getting hit should be ones top priority or dealing with the threat before it can even harm you.

can you use with medic prime perk and health regen for infinite relics?

I can’t seem to proc hardcore metal band with it anymore, is it patched?

that's unfortunate status effect to be suffering from, damage is pretty manageable but bleeding decrease healing by 50% and if every tank build relay on healing, that makes this ring really bad choice for apoc difficulty since you need triage and regrowth JUST to offset the negative effect

Use this ring alongside 1 point in the Blood Bond Trait and your Summoner Beasties will be permanently enraged!

Equip Blood Tinged Ring and you'll outheal the bleed damage, making it a free 10% CC

With this ring equipped you can die during the post credits cutscene. It respawns you at the ward while the audio of the cutscene continues playing.

neckbone necklace or nighweaver's grudge? is the 25% dmg up better than the 20% crit rate?

if paired with Hardcore Metal Band you'll have permanently 5 stacks of Bulwark making you somewhat tanky even with medium armor and rest of the build being pure offence

Good news bois, triage and bleed are additive healing modifiers, they cancel each other out. Testing: Almost sudoku with Meridian > wear this ring > level 10 triage > heal with crystal heart > heal to full instead of half hp

The ring hurts my summons too, is this a bug? Haven't tried with the handler just summoner and the flyers.

Does the bleed heal reduction simply cancel out with triage or does it half the healing you'd receive with triage included, halving it to 75%

Low-key one of the best rings in the game. This plus Neckbone Necklace, Hardcore Metal Band and Blood Tinged Ring gives you ~0.45 HP regen, 25% damage boost, 25% damage reduction and 10% Crit rate. And then add on Anastasija's Inspiration for infinite Haste or Dried Clay Ring for another 15% damage bonus thanks to your maxed-out Bulwark stacks.
It does NOT work with the Ring of Retribution, unfortunately, as that one requires damage to come from enemies.

Losing 1.1 hp per second is easily countered by regrowth+triage traits, but keep in mind that all the healing received is halved, when you are bleeding.

will constantly proc all 5 stacks of hardcore metal band, ez max bullwark.
also procs nighweavers grudge for an ez 30% crit chance. jeez the first item ive found and im already getting excited :D

Some items that trigger based on receiving a status effect may need to be equipped prior to equipping this ring as it seems the bleed effect has an infinite duration so will not trigger. Otherwise simply unequipping and reequipping the ring will trigger it.
This ring is great with Wrathbringer melee weapon. The constant self-damage from bleeding will keep Wrathbringer's melee damage buff (10 stacks, 5% per stack, 50% melee damage at max stacks) active constantly.
As a bonus, Ring of Spears now also scale with melee damage. And it triggers Shielded Strike mutator's shield part. If you are into weird builds (that the devs will fix someday), give it a go!
