Not sure what this does
Is it saying that anytime I "heal" I can mod power or just anytime I recover health in general? Does it need to be red health or gray health? Does the full moon circlet lifesteal effect work in conjunction with this ring?

i think people might be using this ring for the wrong type of build.. might be something you could use on a Reprocessed Heart build, since that hing drains your health on use, you’ll be constantly healing in other ways, like with siphoner (if it works with that) or maybe use it with Sorrow to help keep its mod active at all times, since that mod heals you as well.
that being said, not every item needs to be made to make super mega awesome insane damage builds. some people may just like having the mod generation when they heal so they can then use a mod to get out out of a tight spot.
i dunno, i’ve not tried to use this much aside from it auto equipping on my first run, but it just seems like people are trying to use it with one type of build (always full health regen builds) and instead of saying to themselves “huh, this doesn’t actually seem to work with what i wanted to do here, maybe i should think about what i could pair this with… maybe as a bonus with low health buff items, so i get some mod power when i heal?” that kind of reasoning, or something like it, they just go “well this doesn’t work with my regen build for Apocalypse, therefore this has no use for anyone ever. cuz everyone knows you should have any items that might appeal to more casual players, even if there are a lot of min/maxed, hardcore build options. no, no one needs quality of life items, or niche items, etc., nope. everything needs to be able to max out my damage! screw anyone who plays on the other three difficulties, screw actual game balance! just expand “the meta””

This ring does not generate mod power when healing with certain ring effects such as the heal on kill or heal when using mods, even when missing health, very lackluster at the moment.

Everyone else here is saying you need to be missing health for this ring to work, but it's not even working for me when i'm missing health. I'm using healing shot on myself and not getting mod power back.

In dedicated support healing builds, I'm not really a fan of the this ring for a few reasons.
(1) This ring requires to be below maximum health to actually generate mod power. This forces to take damage to enable the ring to even function beyond being a paperweight, so you are essentially planning for and depending on failure. At higher difficulties, you can get one-tapped with a build light on armor and damage reduction effects, so you may be forced to pay attention to your health bar more than your teammates which is antithetical to the point of the build.
(2) This ring obligates you to use your healing mods before using healing skills. That is, you want your mods to be recharging while under healing effects. So to use the ring efficiently, you need to drain your mods before using your skills. In my opinion, when the internal demands of the build influence flexibility, you are pigeon-holed into using certain functions [healing mods] in situations where they may not be the best option to assure efficient function of internal demands [Dense Silicon Ring]
(3) The overall numeric value [200% of healing done as mod power] is lack luster compared to alternatives. In the most efficient circumstance, this ring will net you <300 mod power in a single burst heal which is less than half of a Healing Shot cost. As your team depends on you to be ready when they hit sub-20% HP, consistency is key with support healer builds, and alternative ring options in Cataloger's Jewel and Burden of the Follower are simply more consistent in delivering mod power.
Just my two cents. Feel free to let me know what y'all think.

Worth noting that this ring requires you to actually regain health, rather than just be under a healing effect (like Anastasija's Inspiration), so this ring DOES NOT work with health regen effects while your health is full.

Tried to combine it with the "Burden of the Warlock" Ring because there is some obvious synergy there. you loose HP when using Mods but coupled with HP Regen effects, this high sounding 200% factor is still so miniscule it's just not worth it.
Cataloger's Jewel is a Ring that just generates 8 Mod Power per second period. Is doing more with way less build commitment and ring slots.

What a weird wording, but it's exactly as it sounds. Whenever you regenerate health at x rate, you regenerate 200% mod power of that x rate. Doesnt work at full health even if you have passive health regen. You basically need to lose health first, then as you regenerate that lost health, you also regenerate your lost mod.

It generates mod power when used with other rings. Used Generating Band and Vacuum Seal together on HP regen/mod build hybrid and it helps.
