Does this only increase your damage against illuminated enemies, or does it also make your teammates do 5% more damage? Because it says all damage toward illuminated enemies.

So far I've only tested it with the root fog that comes out of the explodey plants in Yesha, but when wearing this ring as well as the Lodestone Crown, the status effect bar isn't filling up. You do suffer from the elemental damage effect, but don't get status.
You can test this - walk into the fog while only wearing the crown or the ring. Meter starts filling up. Put on the other piece and not only does it stop filling up, it'll start falling down.
Have yet to test it with other effects, but it really does seem to be a hidden power of this combo. Which now really makes me wonder what else could have similar benefits. Are there potentially other crystal objects with hidden effects?

Got it from choosing the "Farewell" option from the first dialog. Ending dialog/vendor from other parts didn't trigger.

You need to have "Hide Helmet" turned off in your options menu. I talked to him 10 times and didn't get the ring, toggled my helmet to visible and it worked first time. Devs playin a lil prankie
