Rusted Heirloom is a Ring and accessory in Remnant 2. Rusted Heirloom is a ring that grants the protection of 2 BULWARK stacks when the wearer's health drops below 50% of their maximum.
The Renthir family were once staunch supporters of, and highly favored by, the One True King. That favor waned, however, upon a request for clemency on their son's behalf. The price of asking, it would seem, was generations of goodwill.

Players will find a locked safe that requires a four-digit code, in order to be opened. The code can be found by inspecting the area and finding the lit numbers. If you shot the lamp in the room, use your flashlight with L to be able to enter the four-digit code again. By opening the safe, players will find a Ring called Rusted Heirloom.
The code is always some combination of the numbers 1, 3, 5 and 8. Usually 5813, 8513, 8531, or 3581.

Remnant 2 Rusted Heirloom Notes & Trivia
- On close inspection, the rust on this ring is merely cosmetic, scraping off rather easily. The ring's core is unweathered and unweakened even by the ravages of time.
- Rings grant players diverse benefits once donned, up to 4 rings may be equipped at a time.

The code is found by using your light. Turn on your flashlight with L and move around the room looking at the walls.
Some numbers will glow yellow. All the numbers on the wall are made up of 4 numbers. The number that glows will be the the number for the safe. Take note of the placement of the number as it will need to be the same for the final code. For example:
A code on the wall of 9503 with the 5 glowing will result in the safe code being X5XX. (X is an unknown value and still needs to be found)
Another sequence on the wall of 3284 where the 8 glows will now mean the code being X58X (X is an unknown value and still needs to be found)
Repeat until you find all number (or find 3 and then brute force the last one by guessing)

The numbers are in the order of the codes on the wall!
For example:
If a code on the wall says “3087”
And the 3 is gold, that means the 3 goes in the first spot!

Just look for the numbers on the wall, however they appear in their sequence is how they need to be input for the safe code, it’s not random
For example
If you spot the 5, and it’s the sequence of - 9503, that means 5 is the second input for the safe.

Found one in Great Sewers, it's the same passage no matter the zone (have also found one in Tiller's Rest but the combo confused me). While in any sewer area of Losomn be on the lookout for a wall with a gap that's built waist level. When you crawl under it you'll see a safe, lantern, and four digits. One of the numbers will be glowing and if you look around the room you'll see numbers written on the wall. Turn your lantern on and just shine it at the numbers and break things, you'll find more numbers that glow. They'll be in their position on the safe so just put them in, though you might only find three of the numbers and have to guess the last.

Safe is NOT guaranteed spawn, did not spawn in Tiller’s rest for me.

The place where you get this ring doesn't always spawn in tiller's rest

The code can seemingly differ between runs, I just had 5813, though it may be a case that the combination is always a varation on 1-3-5-8 in that case
Due to the game's funcky rendering the smaller numbers, that are on the walls, may not glow unless you are aiming almost directly at them. If you can't find the numbers, that might be the issue.
