Red Ring Of Death is a Ring and accessory in Remnant 2. Red Ring Of Death is a powerful ring that duplicates status effects applied to a target. It is a brand new Ring debuting in the Remnant 2 The Awakened King DLC
The Red Prince may just as suitably have been dubbed Red Death, for along his meandering march to the throne, he leaves a trail of crimson blood in his path. All for the glory and good of the Fae, there can be no doubt. The only thing he lacks is an every-loyal sribe to render immortal his many accomplishments..."

Remnant 2 Red Ring Of Death Notes & Trivia
- A brilliantly red ring that glistens like a pool of blood in the morning sun. It is ornate and elegant with subtle undertones of gleeful cruelty and gore. As such, it seems a fitting adornment for a Fae soldier.
- Rings grant players diverse benefits once donned, up to 4 rings may be equipped at a time.

when multiple status effects can be triggered at once, the one that gets doubled can be chosen, albeit clumsily.
starting with just ring of death:
Krell axe - double shock
Krell axe THEN Blood jewel - double shock, single bleed
Blood jewel THEN Krell axe - Double bleed, single shock (resets to double shock, single bleed on death)
Krell axe + Tainted blade - double shock, single corrosive
Krell axe + Tainted blade THEN Blood Jewel - double corrosive, single shock, single bleed (resets to double shock, single corrosive, single bleed on death)
Blood Jewel THEN Krell axe + Tainted blade - double bleed, single shock single corrosive (resets to double shock, single corrosive, single bleed on death)
so generally the first equipped item is doubled, but it gets a littler weird when 3+ status effects are involved. and in all cases it seems to reset to a detault configuration on death or worldstone (favoring the weapon)

This with Corrupted Merciless, Archon/Ritualist and Detonation Trigger is nasty.

I HIGHLY recommend using this with the Starshot's mod and/or Sparkfire Shotgun with Hotshot active. (kinda sucks on Sparkfire without Hot Shot active)
Combine it with Archon/Summoner, Talisman of the Sun, and Band of the Fanatic, and my testing shows a total damage of ~16,000 from a full 5 charge Big Bang shot. ((2x2750)+((750x2)x7)
I am sure you could get higher damage with 2 more status damage rings, but Stone of Malevolence + Burden of the Follower keeps Big Bang always up.

Secret nerf to Red Ring of Death, it can only double a single status effect at a time per enemy. So make sure you hit with your best DOT first, as it cannot be refreshed until the DOT that is doubled wears off. I am using the Ritualist btw.

Status effects seem to apply in an order regardless of applying them all at the same time. I noticed that, while using the Sparkfire with Twisting Wounds, the bleed effect was duplicated instead of the fire. I am not sure how the order of application is determined.
Theoretically, own could apply 3 of the same status effect by using Merciless with Twisting Wounds and this ring. I have not tested that yet. Will do so tonight. If possible then this would likely be slightly OP.

BUG! (Minor)
If you change classes while this ring is equipped it will disable the ring. You will need to take the ring off and put it back on.

This will give you double explosions with energized neck coil, and the -10% was hardly noticeable (I think it was 267 per explosion vs 280)

Hypothetically speaking, twisting wound with 2000 dmg over 23.5 second + this ring (apply as the first DoT) would do 4000 bleed dmg over 23.5 second. After applying Mist, it would be 5000 dmg/23.5 sec, as in 210dmg/sec.
This is not counting +15% from Vile prime perk and +20% dmg perk of Ritualist.

A better way for this to be worded might be duplicate the first status effect you apply, but that gets a little weird with alchemist shenanigans. Seems valuable if you're using a few powerful status effects and not trying to do a lot of smaller status effects. a few quick notes from using this with merciless, hellfire, and the alchemist.
-shooting a target with merciless bleed rounds or hellfire caused them to be marked with 2 bleed/burn effects as you would expect
-however, if a target was suffering from a double status effect from one gun, shooting that target with the other would only apply one status effect. For example, shooting a target with no status effects with merciless would apply double bleed, and shooting them hellfire only applied one stack.
-UNLESS the target had their status effects transferred to them from the alchemist prime perk. continuing the last example, if that target died and spread their status effect to someone new, shooting this new target with hellfire would result in both double bleed and double burn.
-alchemist's miasma skill (the second one) is not recommended. it seems to only double the burn status effect and not the others
-does not seem like you can have 3 stacks of the same status effect, but might just be insufficient testing. using miasma and hellfire did NOT result in 3 stacks of burning

Is this any good? It seems like it would be, but I don’t see much of a difference in damage outside of using it with Ritualist’s 2nd ability.

Can this be found in normal Losomn as well? Or only DLC Losomn?

Effect: Duplicates the last damaging Negative Status applied to target. Reduces outgoing Status Effect Damage by 10%.
I found it in Gilded Chamber as a random spawn.
the way it chooses what status to double has to do with what order things are equipped.
starting with only red ring equipped:
krell axe - double shock
krell axe THEN blood jewel - double shock single bleed
blood jewel THEN krell axe - double bleed single shock (double shock single bleed on death)
krell axe WITH tainted blade - double shock single corrosive
krell axe THEN tainted blade - double shock single corrosive
krell axe THEN tainted blade THEN blood jewel - double corrosive single shock single bleed - resets to double shock single corrosive single bleed on death)
blood jewel THEN krell axe THEN tainted blade - double bleed single shock single corrosive (resets to double shock single corrosive single bleed on death)
krell axe THEN tainted blade THEN blood jewel THEN remove blood jewel - double corrosive single shock (resets to double shock single corrosive on death)
krell axe WITH tainted blade THEN blood jewel THEN remove blood jewel - double corrosive single shock (resets to double shock single corrosive on death)
so to summarize, you can double the weapon status or the ring status depending on what was equipped first, but when you add another status mutator on top of it it will double the mutator if the ring is equipped last. in all cases it seems to reset to doubling the weapon status when you die/use a worldstone and you have to unequip/requip to change which effect is doubled every time you spawn.
