• The blue plating on this ring grows ever so imperceptibly, fed by absorbing then afflictions of the bearer. Fae legend says when the ring has turned completely blue, it will release all of its afflictions at once, killing the next person who wears it.
  It's unclear if that's true, but it's the kind of thing the Fae would make.
