Can get seal and burden of the rebel in one playthrough just go back and pick up box and key after get seal then give seed for burden

you CAN get the seal after giving the seed, you just need to be polite, say "loog live the queen" and kneel wen you get the option

I found Clementine before I finished this quest, killed the Corruptor without killing the Guardian and got the ring immediately when initiating dialog with the Empress. I got to sass my way through the entire dialog.

Warning for others, it seems if you do the Arrested Event you won't be able to go back into the Throne Room as the Decoy Empress blocks the door. She gives you another ring but not the Seal of the Empress.

Seems it doesn't matter if you give Empress box or not, just choose correct dialog options after killing world boss and you'll get the ring. At least I got Red Doe Sigil and Seal of the Empress at the same playthrough.

So because many comments are unclear I can confirm that you will get the ring if you ignore the ornate box/key until after killing the world boss. Just return to the queen after the boss and choose the polite speech options and then kneel.

Didn't open her room so I never got her quest. Went back after I killed the boss and they were just like "ok you did it you can go free". No quests, no ring. So you'll have to re-roll if you do what I did.

Replayed to confirm - you get the seal by defeating the final boss of yaesha and choosing the dialogue option "Long Live her majesty!" and not "..."
she knights you after this and gives the ring if you kneel

Complete whatever you do BEFORE you beat the boss - I got locked out of the signet by beating the boss after picking up the chest, and talking to her. Only options I had were return the box or plant the seed.

if you plan to plant the seed, talk to the queen first BEFORE you head back to ward13 or this item would be locked out

I got this after having given her the ornate chest and key before defeating the boss. Not sure if that is relevant or not tbh.

Finished the quest but didn't have the box or the seed, so I didn't even have an option to not give them to the empress, and now I can only give them back, so this looks unobtainable to me now, so make sure you have the box before you finish the quest.

I got it by telling the empress no and fighting her guards and winning(so no arrest event) then beating the boss.
She played it off as a test and I gave the loyal answers so she knighted me her blade and gave me the ring.
Okay so I didnt know I can talk to the empress before anything coz you know, whenever there is a closed door and you didnt get a key for it you cant get though, that is the one rule that is reinforced though the whole game. Now I killed the world boss and went to speak with the empress after. Thinking that the death of the boss is a kind of key for the big red door. Turns out I cant get jackshit because the developers think I love playing their game so much I am willing to waste 2 hours of gameplay just because I failed to predict their leap of logic and breach of heavily reinforced rules thus missing a tiny piece of shitty dialogue. And I suppose I should also be happy to repeat the same world I just finished.
