Once equipped, the Ring Of Spears  Mod bestows the following effect upon the Weapon it is attached to:

      I love this as my main skill, but the lag in the spear firing motion is so bad that it is very unusable in online coop.
      When I fire, either nothing happens or the motion gets stuck and repeats endlessly, and even when I call it back, it takes 2 seconds for the spear to come back.
      I think the problem is in the processing of this skill, not the ping.

        If you cast this mod, and then activate Archon's Havoc form, you can still do next part of mod (impale enemies and call them back). Funnies thing is that you do not remain floating after you throw first spear like you do in Havoc, you just normally run while zapping from your hand like Palpatine

        • Some notes after testing:

          (for math reasons, I am running engineer and summoner, so I have an innate 50% increase to skill and mod damage and another 35% when any minion is alive
          but for all my statements, no rings, mutators, or amulets, unless noted, are active. all tests were conducted in the range.)

          as a neutral application, the damage can stagger standard enemies every so often, so it can help create space. (functionally a longer-range version of deceit's mod in this aspect alone.) and scales drastically off of summoner and engineer's damage perks. ( 105 dmg/s with just engineer, 120-141/s with summoner)

          when thrown the user throws their hands up in the air and channels the ability for .7 seconds and cannot do other actions during this channel time aside for walking and sprinting.

          innately this mod can crit and weak spot as you'd expect, ( 750/s with just engineer, 810/s with summoner) and will crit when hitting and when returning to the user.

          additionally, when returning to the user, it flies at the same trajectory it was thrown at, so you can pierce multiple enemies for headshots with it for each spear. (I managed this on one dummy for 11k, with engineer and summoner buff active)

          explosion radius is the same range as the spears that orbit you and will not trigger explosion-related items( detonation trigger, kill switch mutator, etc) or at least didn't trigger them in my testing. but all together stats and ranges are consistent with the description of the mod in this aspect.

            Found this one too much fuss to use. The cast animation is played for every spear, that's time you could just use to shoot, the spear ring damage is negligible even with Archon. If there was a way to quickly throw all the spears it would be a very potent mod.
