Hot Shot is a Weapon Mod in Remnant 2. Hot Shot infuses ammunition with fire, elevating ranged damage and igniting enemies with persistent burning damage.

 

Remnant 2 Hot Shot Weapon Mod Effect

Hot Shot can be socketed into any Weapon that has an available Weapon Mod slot.

Once equipped, the Hot Shot  Mod bestows the following effect upon the Weapon it is attached to:

  • Imbues ammunition with FIRE and increases Ranged damage by 15% for 20s. Shots also apply BURNING, dealing 200 FIRE Damage over 10 seconds.

      Surprising amount of staying power in one's arsenal considering it's one of the first mods you can get. Goes well with weapons that provide sustained fire (i.e. Huntmaster, autoshotty, Bonesaw LMG) but could probably go well with single-shot weapons too (i.e. Widowmaker + Slayer mutator + this mod) and make them take a huge divot out of enemies with each shot.

        Fun fact, this and the other versions reloads your gun when activated. Very nice to have on guns with long reloads.
