Scrap Shot is a Weapon Mod in Remnant 2. Scrap Shot hurls a caltrops grenade that explodes, covering an area with sharp debris, slowing down enemies that tread upon it.

Scrap Shot can be socketed into any Weapon that has an available Weapon Mod slot.

Once equipped, the Scrap Shot Mod bestows the following effect upon the Weapon it is attached to:

  • Fires a caltrops grenade that explodes to cover an area of 6m. Caltrops deal 20 damage per second and SLOW enemies that walk over them. Lasts 10s.

Remnant 2 Scrap Shot Mod Notes & Trivia

  • Updated with the release of The Forgotten Kingdom DLC. Check Patch Notes for more information.
      • Removed Original Caltrops unique DOT behavior
      • Increased Bleed Damage from 220 to 400 over 10s
      • Reduced Slow Duration from 5s to 3s
      • DEV NOTE: This is more about consolidating what the MOD is meant to do. It has a much stronger BLEED and retains the SLOW but for a shorter duration. It’s also part of our desire to help separate SLOW MODS from each other. More to come on that front!
  • Weapon Mods are components that grant active abilities which can be used in and out of combat, they provide a variety of effects including dealing damage, healing, buffing players and more.
  • Most Remnant 2 Mods can be freely slotted in and out of standard Weapons, while other Weapons have their own Mods that cannot be removed.
