Once equipped, the Bore Mod bestows the following effect upon the Weapon it is attached to:

It can combo with the engineers turret if you place it where the turret is aiming, which can be powerfull ... If can keep your target perfectly aligned with the turret.
Or if you use a weapon with high RPS it can be OK
Otherwise it does not last long enough too be efficient, and it is a pain to aim properly

Not sure if a bug, but if you melee a target with a drill inside them, it creates double hits
