Blood Draw is a Weapon Mod in Remnant 2. Blood Draw launches razor-sharp chain shards that impale multiple targets, inflicting persistent bleeding damage.

Blood Draw can be socketed into any Weapon that has an available Weapon Mod slot.

Once equipped, the Blood Draw  Mod bestows the following effect upon the Weapon it is attached to:

  • Shoots out razor-sharp Chain Shards which impale up to 5 targets within 15m, dealing 10 damage. On hit, chains are pulled towards the caster, dealing 250 damage split equally among enemies and applying 275 BLEEDING damage over 15s.

 The Bloody Steel Splinter can be found in the Gilded Chambers. Pay tribute to The Red Prince, by giving him enough Crimson King Coin, that drops by Teleport Fae in the area.

  • The initial hit of the chain is considered to be explosive damage and as such, is affected by Detonation Trigger and will apply the according Burn Status. Note that this is not the case for the subsequent chain pull.

      Not viable in harder difficulties. The activation animation simply takes too long and will more than likely get you killed. Pity.

        bugged 4/10 times. Sometimes wont trigger when the enemy is on uneven ground, sometimes will shoot itself to the ground instead of the enemy sometimes it doesn't deal its initial damage. Got me dead more times that I can count but I love the idea or the looks when I use it so I still use it.

          In addition to considerable damage, this MOD can effectively control some elite monsters, forcing the opponent to stop their actions and turn around. It is very useful against elites whose weaknesses are on their backs.

            Cool synergy with this and the Detonation Trigger amulet. The shot counts as an explosion so this will make fiery blood chains

              either this thing doesnt actually work, or it is just straight up a useless pointless dont waste your time on getting it mod, been exclusively using it for a whole world and it sometimes maybe if it wants to on a tuesday afternoon with tea hit and pull a single enemy, and if it does do its thing then congrats you locked yourself in place for a whole ass 5 ****ing seconds which is most likely just death, **** this mod Marry Clementine Kill Red Prince to get something actually usable

                This is low key one of the hardest items I've farmed. It has a 15-30 minute run time with a 2/5 or 2/6 chance it spawns if you check all possible spawns on Morrow Parish. On top that, the map has a very good chance of now spawning the Teleport Fae which are required to obtain blood draw. I've heard that you can go to other teleport fae in the same adventure to get the coins but I haven't gotten that to work. Ive been trying to get this for 6 hours and Im thinking of just giving up. Getting to the backrooms was half the work of this one weapon mod.

                  My favorite mod to pair with Ford's Scattergun. Really cathartic way to introduce the locals to the barrel of a shotgun.

                    Love this mod but sometimes when I use it, it just fires off and doesn’t hit anything… like, enemy isn’t even moving and it fails to impale. Next use it works in the same circumstances. For reference, this skill will hit targets you aren’t even aiming directly at, seemingly within a fairly generous fan within 15 meters. It works extremely well for me with jester’s bell, until it just chooses not to work at all. Seems totally random to me.

                    Makes it somewhat unreliable in my experience but it’s so good with assassin’s dagger and scrap shot against elites I can’t put it down lol.

                    Anyone else experiencing this?

                      Tested on dummies at Ward 13 :

                      For some reason the initial hit of the chains (not the pull) are considered explosive damage and as such, works with detonation trigger. This interesting not for the increase of the initial hit damage (wich is very low anyway) but because it applies the 360 BURN damage over 5 seconds.

                      In conclusion : The low mod power required paired with the possibility to apply two different status at once makes this mod an amazing choice for a status build.

                      • Like this mod quite a lot, especially with Double Barrel - gives you sick Doom vibes.
                        It also microstuns elites and turns them around, which is quite usefull for fighting big dudes with weak spot on the back.
