Rootlash is a Weapon Mod in Remnant 2. Rootlash hurls a projectile that summons root tentacles to assail enemies, draining the hero's health with each strike.

Rootlash can be socketed into any Weapon that has an available Weapon Mod slot.

Once equipped, the Rootlash  Mod bestows the following effect upon the Weapon it is attached to:

  • Launches a projectile which summons a Root Tentacle. Tentacles deal 30 damage and steal 1.5% of the hero's Max Health per hit. Lasts 20s. (Max 2)

      There seems to be a glitch with these when you use the Pulsing Heart relic. After the duration is over, the tentacles stick around until death, or you change mods. They don’t attack, but they can still proc summon buffs like Soul Guard and Soul Shard.

        Remnant 1 Tentacle Shot on a budget. Doesn't apply overload and deal crazy amounts of damage anymore, but they *do* move around to attack which is nice utility. Also the fact that it can be applied to any weapon and costs less mod power is a big plus.

          im able to summon more than 2 and they linger waaaay past timer noted. they just stay around and dont do dmg. bug?

            Can anyone give extra details on what "Steals 1.5% of the Hero's max health" means exactly? Does this mean that if you have 100 health it will deal 1.5 extra damage per swing, transferring that life directly to you?

              Pretty good synergy with summoner that give them even more crowd control and lifesteal. With some decent dps/mod generation you can keep them active almost constantly.

              AFAIK it doesn’t benefit directly from summoner perks since it’s not a “minion” but does count as a “summon” and stacks with the Soul Guard ring that grants a stack of bulwark per summon active and the Soul Anchor amulet that increases damage after summoning.
