Stasis Beam is a Weapon Mod in Remnant 2. Stasis Beam emits a beam that gradually saps targets' movement speed and eventually freezes them in place under the weight of stasis.

 

Remnant 2 Stasis Beam Weapon Mod Effect

Stasis Beam can be socketed into any Weapon that has an available Weapon Mod slot.

Once equipped, the Stasis Beam  Mod bestows the following effect upon the Weapon it is attached to:

  • Fires a beam which deals 15 damage per second, and applies SLOW Debuff. After 3s of application to a target, SLOW becomes STASIS, freezing the target in place for 10s.

Despite Weapon Mods not being upgradeable, once attached to a Weapon, they receive the benefits of the weapon's level, resulting in greater damage as the weapon's level increases.

      For some reason, whenever I have Affliction and Timekeeper's Jewel equipped, it lasts for three minutes in multiplayer. In single-player it lasts 40 seconds. I don't know what causes this.

        PSA Do not use on Bloat King! While this works on the orb and can appear to be usefull for easy damage it will glitch the game and can remain in place as boss continues without reoobsorbing the orb. This means when it releases 2 for the next phase, there are now 3 shooting at you. (one from a fixed position) The main body also at this point stays in its lit up attack phase shooting lasers at you....

          This is great CC mod for solo and co-op. Very useful for elites/specials. But be cerful! It does not work on aberrations, bosses or world bosses. So do not forget to switch it with something else before you fight them.

            Do we get increase critical damage on stasis enemy ?
            (in Remnant 1 , we get + cri damage on freezing enemy)

              PSA: the one boss it can freeze is the primogenitor (blue bug that rides the big flies in Nerud). Makes the boss incredibly easy, even on apoc. Enjoy!

              • this or prismatic driver mod, when combo'ed with encoder ring allows you to instantly get 30s of 10% max health regen that you can refresh often for as often as needed.

                but for the same reason, does not mix with the ring of the warlock-- as it will convert your entire health bar into grey health, so use carefully. (unless running grey health/low health builds)

                  This is a great weapon mod for regular enemies and elites, but for mutator enemies and bosses only the slow effect will be applied. Kinda sucks, but understandable why it doesn’t work like that. Plus it works alongside the Timekeeper’s Jewel to double the Stasis effect, freezing targets for 20 seconds, which is crazy.

                    Nutty for playing solo, the sheer bonus to survivability by turning off dangerous enemies for 10 seconds so you can heal is crazy
