The Sparkfire Shotgun + Ring of Malevolence (Elemental damage Mod-Power generation) + this Mod make such a great Healer Weapon.
Generating Mod Power with the base elemental damage of the Shotgun in fast succession refills this Mod quite fast, making it a great Support Healer weapon for you and your team.

You can use a couple tricks to reliably heal yourself on the move with this:

        - Ricochet off a nearby surface onto yourself (be careful not to lose the orb in geometry you cannot wedge your hitbox into)
        - Shoot it on the floor in front of you, then roll/run over it (shooting it too close causes it to fail to burst until you move away. Also, watch out for floors with cracks or gaps in the floorboards)
        - Shoot it into an ally or summon (dog can be recalled!) at close range, so the cloud hits you too (the range of the effect is actually pretty good)

Good mod for Handler. Allows you to heal your dog at range without using a Relic OR you can heal yourself at the same time by standing next to the dog when you shoot it with the healing payload.

I just wish the payload had larger collision + activation hitboxes, if often falls through cracks or gets stuck in geometry that you can't wedge your own hitbox into.

Anyone know if Mod Power affects amount healed?

Also absolutely A tier mod. Shoot it at your teammates for some clutch heals, especially if they are melee users up close.
