Corrosive Rounds is a Weapon Mod in Remnant 2. Corrosive Rounds enhances ammunition with toxic properties, heightening critical chance and applying corrosive damage over time.

Corrosive Rounds can be socketed into any Weapon that has an available Weapon Mod slot.

Once equipped, the Corrosive Rounds  Mod bestows the following effect upon the Weapon it is attached to:

  • Imbues ammunition with TOXIC and increases Range Crit Chance by 15% for 20s. Shots also apply CORRODED, dealing 100 damage over 10s.

      Does anyone know if the crit chance is extended to other weapons? It just says: "and increases Range Crit Chance by 15%" So if they are corroded, can I switch to the main weapon and have 15% more crit chance with those shots?

        Corroded STILL reduces armor taken on top of the 100 damage over 10s of the acid.
        I tested it on the dummies with the blackmaw and got the following results:
        51 damage per shot (inactive mod + enemy not corroded)
        51 damage per shot (active mod + enemy not corroded)
        56 damage per shot (active mod + enemy corroded)

        From what I could tell, it seems to reduce the armor by 10% or increase the damage taken by 10%.
        And the mod can only apply 1 stack of corroded on an enemy.

          Fun fact, this and the other versions reloads your gun when activated. Very nice to have on guns with long reloads.
