Paper Heart is a Relic in Remnant 2. Paper Heart is a Relic that you can obtain if you have the Bookbound Medallion to open the chamber located in Chamber of the Faithless. You will find the Paper Heart behind a desk at the back of the room. It is a brand new Relic debuting in the Remnant 2 The Awakened King DLC.

Remnant 2 Paper Heart Effect
Paper Heart provides the following effect:
- On use, heals for up to 100% of current health over 0.25s. Gain 1 Stack per 10% Health Restored. After 15s, remove 10% Health per Stack. Kills remove 1 Stack.

Paper Heart can be found at the following locations:
- Inside the locked room that has to be opened with the Bookbound Medallion in Chamber of the Faithless.

- The fragile contraption appears to be hollow on the inside. For every lurid secret and hushed confession scrawled on its outside, the only thing at its center is the simple, empty joy of knowing.

AnonymousI genuinely think there was a mistake made when the devs put this item into the game. Neither damage reduction nor the Kinship trait can reduce the damage of this. The stacks also refresh and add together with consecutive uses, meaning that you can 1 shot yourself from theoretically full health with shields up.
Or maybe it's just a gag item?

Unless I'm not understanding something, this is just a straight downgrade to the Unsullied Heart, other than the heal happens 0.25s quicker (from unsullied's 0.5s) - which seems... not worth it for the downside of not healing during boss fights without adds.
As of 4/22/2024 the patch notes for the Forgotten Kingdom DLC have reworked this to actually go from useless to maybe one of the best relics.
