Decayed Heart is a Relic in Remnant 2. Decayed Heart triggers rapid regeneration over 3 seconds for the next 3 instances of enemy damage taken. The effect lasts for 30 seconds, providing a chance for healing during critical moments.

 

My desire for elucidation caused history to repeat. There was a moment in wy the people of the Core could have prevented their corruption from spread when they foresaw what might occur and could have ended it. : They chose to preserve their corruption, for the same reason I preserve world.

      Just awful. If it prevented the damage and healed you, it might be useful. At the very least it could be instant instead of over time.

      The healing is pitifully low and slow. Considering you will usually take >40 damage on a hit, it cant keep up to the overall damage you take.

      Mechanically it works like this. You use heart. It lasts 30s. Within that 30s, if you take a hit, it procs 1 of the 3 40 hp over 3s heals. If you get hit during those 3s, it does NOT stack a 2nd instance of 40 hp over 3s and it does NOT overwrite the current instance with a new one. Instead you just take the damage as normal. When the 3s is up after the first instance, you can now activate another by getting hit. Note that self damage and team damage do NOT activate this relic, only enemy damage.

      If the healing instances stacked, if it protected you from damage (or at least gave DR) during the heal, or if the healing was instant, then this would be a good relic. As it stands now, it is just bad.

        hug the right wall after the first open area with the 2 tripods and before the next open area. its easy to miss

          Can anyone confirm if/how the 3 instances stack?

          Does it just replace the last instance of 40 regen over 3s essentially wasting a charge?

          Does it add another charge on to make it 80 regen over 6s/120 over 9s?

          Does it stack the regen on top of the previous charge to be 40/80/120 regen over 3s?
