Remnant 2 Dark Pact Notes & Trivia

  • Traits are unique passive abilities that provide bonuses and buffs to a player. There are three types of Traits in the game.
  • Core Traits are common for all four Classes, and are unlocked as soon as you begin the game.
  • Archetype or Class Traits, are locked behind their respective Archetypes, and only one can be equipped one at a time, unless you have the ability to combine any two of your Archetypes.
  • The third type, called simply Traits can be equipped by any Class, but have to be unlocked. Unique Archetype Traits can be leveled up as you level up the corresponding Archetype. On the other hand, the rest require Trait Points in order to be upgraded. Note that they cap at level 10.

Not sure why my comment got deleted. This wiki page is incorrect as of the latest patch/dlc (Forgotten Kindom).

It now INCREASES Gray Health Conversion Rate, from +3% to +30% (3% per level).

I am in-game and that is the exact wording on the Traits tab. Can someone please update the Wiki?

Guys. The most recent update to this Wiki page is incorrect.

The new patch/Forgotten Kingdom dlc is live and the trait's in-game description now reads:

Increases Gray Health Conversion Rate by xx%

i feel like a rework that would still fit the vibe of this trait would be to make it lessen the effect of curses and blights, I.E. reducing the cough (maybe just have it reduce your accuracy for a moment instead of forcing an animation?) and stamina drian from Root Rot, which would allow things like embrace of Sha"Hala, alchemy stone, and neckbone necklace, heck if it reduced bleeds heal penalty itd pair well with attonement fold. but anyway, just wishful thinking.

Would putting one trait point into this count as a 24/7 negative Status? I'm wondering if this would pair with the Alchemy Stone ring; Increases base Lifesteal by 6% while suffering from a negative STATUS or BLIGHT Effect

Bitter Memento ring from the Awakened King DLC makes this trait’s main benefit of more grey health uptime even more worthless.

That ring gives 100% grey health uptime, which allows you to forgo extra grey health hit protection for more sub-archetype/accessory variety and you can receive healing without worries of losing grey health, all for a single ring slot and losing only 1% of max HP. Plus you don’t have to waste trait points for an active debuff.

Should revamp this to be grey health regen DELAY. Obviously 0.1 second regen would be OP but maybe chsnge the 90% to 50%. 50% delay = regen ticks every half second.

.... I dont think their heads where in the right place when they thaught of this trait.
I mean any health you regenerate will heal over grey health as is before healing "black" or empty health and their are rings that can give you grey health on demand, including a new one that "sets" 1% of your health to grey.
and who would waist their limmited trait points for something that exclusivly debuffs you, unless this is that Admeral ring mentality.

Even if you like the grey health, base grey hp regen is 0.2, healing 10 HP takes almost a minute. Why would you ever want this trait?

                    • Anonymous

Why the fck would I ever want this? If you need to keep grey health up for buffs just use the ring that bleeds you.
