Remnant 2 Resolute Notes & Trivia

  • Traits are unique passive abilities that provide bonuses and buffs to a player. There are three types of Traits in the game.
  • Core Traits are common for all four Classes, and are unlocked as soon as you begin the game.
  • Archetype or Class Traits, are locked behind their respective Archetypes, and only one can be equipped one at a time, unless you have the ability to combine any two of your Archetypes.
  • The third type, called simply Traits can be equipped by any Class, but have to be unlocked. Unique Archetype Traits can be leveled up as you level up the corresponding Archetype. On the other hand, the rest require Trait Points in order to be upgraded. Note that they cap at level 10.

The purpose of this trait is to help avoid getting stun-locked, which it can help with... Sometimes. I think 25% reduced time staggered isn't enough though; at least to be consistent. Maybe if it was in the 30-40% range it would be more reliable for getting out of stun-lock hell, but as it stands it won't currently do as much as one would desire against fast hitting enemies or groups of enemies. As far as defensive traits go I unfortunately can't recommend this one over any other option. Even cool-down reduction is "technically" better since you have stagger resistance while casting. I hope this trait gets a buff, as even a small one would be enough to bump it up to being a good option.

I had to destroy somewhere in the neighbourhood of 40 of the stone statues, but I was gathering stuff on Survival difficulty at the time, might that have something to do with it?

This appears to increase the animation speed of getting staggered, therefor reducing the time you can't move.
