Remnant 2 Glutton Notes & Trivia

  • Traits are unique passive abilities that provide bonuses and buffs to a player. There are three types of Traits in the game.
  • Core Traits are common for all four Classes, and are unlocked as soon as you begin the game.
  • Archetype or Class Traits, are locked behind their respective Archetypes, and only one can be equipped one at a time, unless you have the ability to combine any two of your Archetypes.
  • The third type, called simply Traits can be equipped by any Class, but have to be unlocked. Unique Archetype Traits can be leveled up as you level up the corresponding Archetype. On the other hand, the rest require Trait Points in order to be upgraded. Note that they cap at level 10.

Such a great way to get this traint.... Most people dont know how to get this. And even if someone joins you who somewhat understands how to get it, they still forget to unskill theire Kinship traint, so no explosion damage and no Firestorm works to kill them. And if that wasnt bad enought, you ALWAYS get focused by all enemys if you host the game...Thankfully we have no real communication at all in this game beside of stupid emotes and pings. Just wonderfull! So good luck on finding someone who knows what to do. Such a bullshit way to get it.

You can't actually eat the food again after you finished the event, apparently they changed that or this a bug that can happen

You can get the trait AFTER(!) the event, too. You only need the great hall. Go back to it, wait for multiplayer. Then there's food on the table. Eat the food, kill your mate. Back to respawn. Point to the food, let the mate kill you.
Did it with 2 other players. The first one didn't understand, luckily the second did. After eating and killing each other, the first one understood too.
If you're waiting in the great hall, players will come which know what to do. HTH

Most annoying trait to get because half of the player base tries too hard to not die and defeats the area. Or they all need the trait, and no one dies hoping someone else will. Verry annoying mechanic, it should apply to everyone not just the "eater". The worst part is, I received this trait and use to have it, then I logged in the next day and it was gone. Just disappeared on my toon.

I did the event with my duo.
He ate the meal and we both became RAVENOUS.
Then I got downed and he ate me.
He got the trait instantly but I did not!
FCK! I needed this trait, not him! If I knew this could happen... I would eat him... T-T
Not blame the site but the BUGGY game.

I have now done this 4 or 5 times both eating a teammate and getting eaten and the Trait WILL NOT unlock. Is it bugged?

You can only get this trait in co-op.
Someone has to go down, not die, and you have to "revive" them, you will instead kill them and everyone will gain the perk.
Dog does not count because it's not about reviving it's about killing them instead of reviving them.

wow not like its even more important for solo users to have fast relic since we have no aggro switching. Boneheaded decision.

One would think coop traits should benefit only coop things... nope this is quite useful for survival as relic use is very slow and you can get killed easily trying to use it.

Got this in The Great Hall during the feast battle where you suffer the ravenous debuff. I was downed, a teammate tried to revive me but ate me because of the ravenous debuff and that netted me the trait.
