Remnant 2 Recovery Notes & Trivia

  • Traits are unique passive abilities that provide bonuses and buffs to a player. There are three types of Traits in the game.
  • Core Traits are common for all four Classes, and are unlocked as soon as you begin the game.
  • Archetype or Class Traits, are locked behind their respective Archetypes, and only one can be equipped one at a time, unless you have the ability to combine any two of your Archetypes.
  • The third type, called simply Traits can be equipped by any Class, but have to be unlocked. Unique Archetype Traits can be leveled up as you level up the corresponding Archetype. On the other hand, the rest require Trait Points in order to be upgraded. Note that they cap at level 10.

After I kill all the enemies around the child it just runs around randomly until it despawns.... and yeah i did interact with it first. I should have had this dumb trait 3 times over by now

I've beat this game 3 times. The first time I found 2 children and it worked. The problem is the second time I did this on another account. I found 2 children in the map. Then the Oracle was still shaking her head at me. I scoured the entire map & never found a 3rd child. I even came back tomorrow, still didn't find an extra child, Oracle was still shaking her head when I tried to talk to her. So I just beat the game and rerolled. So on this third time I found 2 children and it worked like the first. That goes to show there is a chance something can go wrong even if you find 2 children, either it's a bug or something else.

Potentially useful for melee builds. There is a ring that enables Stamina Regen durning melee attacks, which can lead to situations where you are hugging a boss and have no stamina to backstep. +30\s is about double recovery rate for med roll.
Otherwise, could be a good alternative to high stamina, by stacking stamina regen + stamina delay, for short bursts of action. I don't have all of the rings and traits on my character to test it out.

The information here is quite misleading. You don't receive it for just escorting a lone child back to the Oracle. You have to find all missing children, requiring multiple rerolls of the world to find more children until the entire quilt the oracle is sewing is complete. Once it's completed, talk to her, and you receive the 'Recovery' trait along with the 'All Seeing Eye' item.

It is unlocked via the Orical of the Dran. She can spawn in Forsaken Quarter, Ironborough, Morrow Parish, or Brocwithe Quarter. Basically any non sewer/on fire zone.
