Amplitude is a Trait in Remnant 2. Amplitude is a Trait that increases Area of Effect (AOE) Size , enabling your character to hit and affect more enemies with powerful attacks.

Amplitude can be found at The Labyrinth. Look through the "broken portal" and jump through, sprint jump to the crystal so you don't die and complete the boss fight, (stay alive long enough for a door to open)

 

Remnant 2 Amplitude Trait Levels

Amplitude upgrades its effect as you level up your Archetype, or spend more Trait Points in it. Note that for any Archetype Trait that reaches max level (Level 10), players can unlock that trait for any archetype from the archetype page, without needing to equip its respective Engram.

Remnant 2 Amplitude Notes & Trivia

  • Traits are unique passive abilities that provide bonuses and buffs to a player. There are three types of Traits in the game. 
  • Core Traits are common for all four Classes, and are unlocked as soon as you begin the game.
  • Archetype or Class Traits, are locked behind their respective Archetypes, and only one can be equipped one at a time, unless you have the ability to combine any two of your Archetypes.
  • The third type, called simply Traits can be equipped by any Class, but have to be unlocked. Unique Archetype Traits can be leveled up as you level up the corresponding Archetype. On the other hand, the rest require Trait Points in order to be upgraded. Note that they cap at level 10.

    • Sorry typo. I meant "Not sure is it bugged or it's intended, Resonance used to work on Spectral blade Whirl wind but now Amplitude doesn't do anything to it."

        Very glad that these two effects were combined into a single trait. What counts as an aura vs an AoE felt very inconsistent and it was very hard to rationalize spending 20 points on both individually.

          It doesn't apply to Hunter's Mark which does say it's an aura. Hunter's mark has a baseline 35m which should change to reflect the 50% increase. however, not the case.

            I tested and verified that healing shot was affected by this trait, I confirm it 100% is.
            I tried to add it to the list but ended up making a mess with colours, please someone fix this

              Ritualist second skill, miasma, is also affected by this one, and you can almost wipe out an entire dungeon XD

                Does this effect the new Miasma skill? It says AoE on the package, and does an explosion (more or less), so it should be an AoE and not an Aura, right?

                  Does this effect the Vial Skills of the Alchemist or is that affected by Resonance (aura trait) instead?

                  Furthermore is the shared relic healing that medic gets affected by this or resonance?

                  What about the random buff you get from alchemist relic use? Aura or AOE?

                    They need to signal a bit better "Aura" vs "AoE"
                    Dream Catcher is a "Aura" btw Various gas clouds are also "Auras"
                    AoE are strict to "explosives" Meridian is a good example.

                    Explosive is a smaller "group" oddly but a pretty interesting group of effects.

                    Sorrow Also seems to be potential for this effect too.
                    Starfall Pistol uses this.
                    The Explosive of Starfall Mod/Astro Rifle also use this.

                    Few other examples but it's notable maybe a "list" of what is and isn't a AoE is notable and what is and "Isn't" an Aura.

                    Aura are def more common though.

                      Who else is using toxic release valve with fully upgraded amplitude?? That poison cloud clears the damn room. Epic :)

                        Okay, it helps the Enigma chain further, but I'm wondering does it actually increase the range from the player to the enemy (not just enemy to enemy)?

                          Does this affect spectral blades Whirlwind weapon mod? It looks AoE. Im still early in the game so I can't really afford to test it.

                            Haven't tested many things, but I can confidently say this affects the Firestorm and Tremors mods, the Engineer's Impact Cannon turret, and Enigma's chaining range.

                                Works on Archetype skills, Weapons, and seems to work with weapon mods

                                Tested using War Stomp on Challenger, Meridian grenade launcher, and Blood Draw + Prismatic Driver

                                  Anyone know if this affects the blast range of the grenade launcher you get from the great sewers or is it just for abilities and such?
