Timewave is a Mutator in Remnant 2. Timewave is a Ranged Mutator that applies the SLOW status on all enemies within 7.5 meters for 3.5 seconds upon using a Mod, providing a tactical advantage in controlling enemy movements.

 

Remnant 2 Timewave Effect

Timewave is a Ranged Mutator that can be equipped on Hand Guns and Long Guns with an availale Mutator Slot.

Once Timewave is equipped on a Ranged Weapon, it provides the following effect:

  • Mod Use applies SLOW status on all enemies within 10m for 3.5s.

      The slow seems to affect enemy animations, not just movement speed. The big root guy that leaps, leaps in slow motion! It becomes confusing to dodge.

        Fun fact, the radius on the Slow is affected by the Amplitude trait, bringing it up 11.5m at 10 Amplitude! The slow duration is also affected by Timekeeper's Jewel, doubling the Duration to 14 seconds when the Mutator is maxed out!

          The problem is that the slow originates from you, the caster, rather than from the mod projectile as you'd think it should.

          Which basically makes this useless on most ranged options outside of shotguns, and even then you have better mutator options.

            Has anyone ever actually found this in Terminal Station...Ive been farming for weeks and cant find it in any of these places

              The effect (currently) isn't tied to a mode hitbox but to yours, so instead of having additional hitbox of 7,5m added to your mod projectile, instead it just slows down everything around you in 7,5 m. And here I wanted to pair it up with cube gun to see everything melt in that cube....

                Just a note for anyone that gets this, it says it only lasts 3.5 seconds, but it is an INFINITE slow atm, not sure what's causing it to bug but it is insanely strong for crowd control

                  Found it in Astropath's Respite. Should be added in the list above.
                  Note; your looking for ring-floors shapped in a FUNNEL/CONE - pretty easy recognizable on the (mini-)map
