Latency is a Mutator in Remnant 2. Latency is a Melee Mutator that modifies weapons that charge abilities by doing damage, it makes their effects easier to charge and increases their power.

 

Remnant 2 Latency Effect

Latency is a Melee Mutator that can be equipped on Melee Weapons with an availale Mutator Slot.

Once Latency is equipped on a Melee Weapon, it provides the following effect:

  • Melee Weapons with special abilities which become readied by dealing melee damage require 10% less damage to charge.

      If you equip this on the red Doe staff and land the actual “staff” part of the heavy attack, with enough melee damage it can actually recharge itself in the same hit- pretty brutal to launch an unending stampede of deer through some of the slower bosses

        This mutator has been a fantastic addition to my Red Doe Staff. Especially with some boosts to your melee damage as well, you can potentially power up the charge attack with 1-2 basic attacks consistently. In addition to the healing aspect of the charge attack, it does quite a hefty amount of damage as well! Highly recommend trying this mutator out on the 2 staves that require powering up!
