Transference is a Mutator in Remnant 2. Transference is a Melee Mutator that causes melee hits to generate 5% ammo reserves for both firearms with a cooldown of 10 seconds.

 

Remnant 2 Transference Effect

Transference is a Melee Mutator that can be equipped on Melee Weapons with an availale Mutator Slot.

Once Transference is equipped on a Melee Weapon, it provides the following effect:

  • Melee Hits generate 5% Ammo Reserves for both Firearms. Cooldown 10s.

      Not sure why this says 100% for the level 10. When I got the mutator it says 25%. Kinda regret resetting N'erud like ten time to get the facility to spawn, now.

        The description is misleading, the mutator does not grant ammo on 'any hits', only on melee kills.

        As well a lot of description is for regular attacks when you click the button, not charge attacks unless it indicates it.

        This is because the lv10 mutator is often used for the charged attacks.

          I'm using this on Godsplitter currently, and it doesn't seem to be working. I do not appear to be getting any ammunition from it. Unsure if it's me being silly, a conflict with the passive of the weapon perhaps, or the mod isn't working.

            I tested it out with the Krell Axe, transference does still trigger on the thrown weapon ability. I would assume the huntress's spear is no different but I don't have it to test. This means using a throwing melee weapon and this can reasonably keep their ammo stocked.
