    • Tested this on Nightfall on the closest practice dummy at gun level 0 and mod level 0:

      No mutator base damage to body: 39
      No mutator base weakspot damage: 83

      W/ Mutator base damage to body shots 1-3: 41
      W/ Mutator base damage to body shots 4-8: 40
      W/ Mutator base damage to body shots 9-10:39
      W/ Mutator base weakspot damage shots 1: 88
      W/ Mutator base weakspot damage shots 2-4: 87
      W/ Mutator base weakspot damage shots 5-6: 86
      W/ Mutator base weakspot damage shots 7-8: 85
      W/ Mutator base weakspot damage shots 9-10: 84

      I activated the mod with the mutator and was consitently getting the shot 1 damage every shot on both weakspot and body. Which means it does work with infinite ammo. There was a strange reaction with the weakspot damage being higher for the first shot of every magazine. Most likely due to rounding errors. Can imagine it could get nutty if both weapon and mutator fully upgraded and you built into weakspot damage with the nightfall mod. Hey maybe add gunslinger on top for huge burst DPS

        So, if the verbage is right, on a single shot weapon this item would always be 100% effective in its buff.
