Failsafe is a Mutator in Remnant 2. Failsafe is a Ranged Mutator that enhances an attached Mod by inflicting an additional 10% Mod Damage, maximizing the effectiveness of the weapon's modifications.
Remnant 2 Failsafe Effect
Failsafe is a Ranged Mutator that can be equipped on Hand Guns and Long Guns with an availale Mutator Slot.
Once Failsafe is equipped on a Ranged Weapon, it provides the following effect:
- Attached Mod deals 10% additional Mod Damage.
Remnant 2 Failsafe Location
Failsafe can be found in the following locations:
- Dormant N'Erudian Facility - activate the control panel to manually trigger the purge in the secret area where you find the Biome-Control Glyph instead of killing all the mobs. Kill the ensuing miniboss to obtain.

What weapons and mods are best with this mutator? Special guns or normal guns with a normal mod of your choice?
For example: The Chicago Typewriter with the Space Crabs?

I just bought this from Dwell. Not sure why he had it. It was a while ago that I manually triggered the purge and don't remember if I killed the mini boss or not.

So how do we get it if we failed the boss fight? The doors are locked now
Tested on Starshot, even when using mod at 5 stacks still only 15% chance to proc, and when it procs it only gives a single charge back. I do not recommend for Starshot
