Star Shot is a Hand Gun and one of the available Weapons in Remnant 2. Star Shot fires fast-moving plasma projectiles that explode on contact. It is highly effective in short to medium-range combat, providing a balance between close-quarters encounters and engagements at moderate distances.
"Shortly after N'Erud’s christening, Caid Jaru and I stood within the Core Observatory, watching the star at N’Erud’s center glow and burn. He mused—in jest I thought—about creating smaller such stars, the kind one might hold in the palm of their hand. ’What kind of gods could we be?’ he wondered. I have since learned that Jaru never jests."

Remnant 2 Star Shot Notes & Trivia
- The gun's shots deal 20 additional explosive damage (also scaling with Weapon Level and Ranged Damage).
- The explosive damage will trigger the burning effect of the Detonation Trigger amulet.
- The explosive damage cannot hit Weakspots.
- The name of this weapon is no embellishment. From a technical perspective, it uses gravitic rails to launch microminiaturized spheroids of plasma—literal tiny stars.
- Hand Guns round up the players' arsenal, providing them with a shorter-range variation to Long Guns. They can be crafted from items dropped by specific Bosses, rewarded from events and some are sold by Merchants
- Updated with the release of The Forgotten Kingdom DLC. Check Patch Notes for more information. Increased Reload Speed, and MOD: Reduced Mod Requirement from 630 to 420

If a weapon ain't got kick, it just ain't worth it. This weapon has the biggest kick!

Protip: This thing ****ING SHREDS shielded enemies. You know the damn robots with the shield that will melee you from up close? Shoot them directly and laugh as that shield protects them as much as used toilet paper. That alone makes this weapon well worth investing in.

High range and perfect accuracy make this a great weapon for sniping, especially when combined with detonation trigger, easily deals with anything in sight in the open maps of nerud

Love this gun, running it with Detonation Trigger (25% explosion dmg, catch's them on fire) + Singed Ring (enemies on fire take !0% more damage). Just don't blow yourself up.

Star Shot + Apheliion
Makes all your problems including yourself and your teammates go away

I can't desribe how disappointing this thing is, even at +10. Even with +50% aoe radius. Even with twisting wounds. It is just blatantly weak. Did I miss a nerf before I got it?

Been searching over 2 hours on Eon Vault. Only 4 coffins... I'm about to quit altogether. Needle in a haystack, ridiculous.

Crazy Weapon, "infinite Range" due to no fall of of Damage, Every Shot actually hits twice as both the projectile and explosion do damage, 10 shots is decent and the fire rate is fairly good. Its my favorite Handgun even tho i dont have the Detonation Trigger Amulet yet. And the Mod? a very pretty Nuke

Took my favorite gun out of Destiny 2 and gave it steroids. Love it so much

Big Bang makes wiping off your entire party stupidly easy, especially if one of your friends playing minion build.
But calm down, i'm doctor.

Probably the overall best hand gun in the game. No falloff with the Detonation Trigger Amulet and Twisting Wounds mutator means you can map enemies with the direct weakpoint damage, the aoe, the burn from explosions modifier from the amulet, and the bleed from the mutator while the subsequent shots against the bleeding enemy does another +20% ranged damage. This thing is a stable of workhorses and a half.

Everyone will kill themselves with a big bang 5 charge shot at least once. XD

the regular shots deals both impact damage AND an AOE dmg, and only the impact can hit weakpoints, however, this does mean it can trigger the twisting rounds mutator. and if you add the Detonation trigger for the burn effect you get a devestating handgun that applies both bleed and burning every shot you land as a Weakpoint. and if you fire off the weapon mod and hit a weakpoint, the dmg is getting comically absurd
at lv 10 its
195+195 x1,05 per charge = 2048 base damage
and the burn is 225 per charge over 5 sec, so 1125 burn
thats a whopping 3173 damage just at lvl 10, before any other modifiers and increases.....
as for the regular shots, the amulet adds 405 burning dmg per shot and a 25% increase to the explosion part of the shot, and the mutator adds 20% range dmg vs bleeding targets, and adds a stackable 100 bleed dmg....
this gun on archon is just absolutely melting anything you throw at it, each shot dealing aoe dmg with dots, and the mod can almost 1 shot most elites

So this weapon is absolutely busted with the Archon class I've seen people instantly kill bosses with this. Deffo be nerfed soon

This gun reminds me of the Ray Gun from Treyarch Zombies. Reload animation dropping a tube into the gun and the mod being a nuke from the power up drops.

I don't know if it's just coincidence but it just reminds me so much of Sunshot.

There are 6 pods in total , you're best to finish the event before hunting them as it saves rechecking ones you've spotted on the floor already

One of my favorite handguns in the game. Just uh, don't get in the habit of using the Double Barrel and think you're okay to blast enemies (and yourself) point blank with this like I did...

I don't know if the training dummies are wrong but this does much more than 5% extra per mod charge for me. At x5 charges consumed it did +500% (six times) the base damage, not +20% like the description says.

Combined with the detonation trigger amulet every shot applies burning in a small AoE. It can be useful to shoot near yourself if you gain a bonus from burning, but is also just an incredibly solid weapon for clearing zones. Carried me through my first playthrough.

Bugged. Found first coffin right out the gate, and activated it. It is no longer beeping, and I cannot re-activate it. The other 4 are all beeping. No weapon. Great work! Not only is the world generation gimmick making it quite literally impossible to determine if I even have the "correct" spawns, but now the game literally just doesn't work as intended.
