Hellfire is a Hand Gun and one of the available Weapons in Remnant 2. Hellfire resembles guns from Earth, with corrupted technology. It is particularly effective in short-range encounters, making it a devastating weapon for close-quarters combat.
The corruption serves only two objectives: annihilation and assimilation, with the latter supporting the former, until such time as the former is completed. Presumably, the Root would eventually annihilate itself as well, but this theory has not yet been proven.
That is probably for the best.
How to Get Hellfire in Remnant 2
Hellfire can be obtained by:
- Can be found in Root Earth - Ashen Wasteland
Secret Passage - How to Get Hellfire
At the beginning of the zone, traverse the overpass down to a large area with ruined cars and trucks (If you reach the first checkpoint, you've gone too far). Hellfire can be found inside the large crater covered by a semi truck. You can traverse up a nearby root to the overpass above and drop down onto the trailer. Alternatively, you can climb up the edge of the crater on the left side of the large metal pole on its edge.

Remnant 2 Hellfire Notes & Trivia
- Shooting at the floor leaves a fire trail that applies Burning to anyone touching it (including allies).
- Longshot doesn't seem to increase the flamethrower range.
- This looks like any of a number of guns from Earth. Most of the technology here met the same fate as everything else the Root touches, but sometimes, the deadwood made a thing their own.
- Hand Guns round up the players' arsenal, providing them with a shorter-range variation to Long Guns. They can be crafted from items dropped by specific Bosses, rewarded from events and some are sold by Merchants

- Updated with the release of The Forgotten Kingdom DLC. Check Patch Notes for more information. MOD: Increased Base Damage from 155 to 175, and Increased Fire DOT from 100 Damage over 5s to 250 Damage over 10s

These directions are terrible.
1. in the very first area near but under the overpass highway road is a ruined truck in a crater.
2. look for a root infront of the truck
3. follow the root up and jump of the ledge into the crater.
This weapon applies some of the strongest, most consistent burn damage in the game right now.
Talisman of the sun
Red ring of Death
Band of the fanatic
Getting over 1k burning damage per second.
When the bug with status duration is fixed it won't be quite as strong, but should still be very good.

It's a pocket flammenwherfer. It wherfers flammen on things while still being compact enough to be able to fit on your pocket.

Since it's fire elemental and the design remind me to the Borderlands' 1 Hellfire SMG

You can also just climb a rock that is in front of the trucks engine to get in to the crater that the weapon is in.

Can be used to quickly get 5 stacks of Bulwark from Hardcore Metal Band and proc 5% Lifesteal from Alchemy Stone while receiving next to no damage.

As a fun fact, this weapon doesn't get an increase from ranged damage, but from fire damage only, "all damage" effects work and Status effects works too. The range does not change at all either, and works amazing with Burden of the Destroyer for +15% damage with no drawback. Beware if you have another source of BURNING effect, as they don't stack or replace, even if the new effect is higher in damage.

Really love what they did with the Spitfire in this game, I much prefer having an actual flamethrower as the primary fire instead of it just being a weapon mod.

Can't help notice how a lot of stuff has been nerfed in this game. Cap on trait points, weaker hellfire, no kingslayer.....
Do you know what the Hellfire flamethrower sounds like? It roars like a dragon, a fiery God purging everything in his path. Hold down that trigger and whoosh drowns out everything else. Focus on the noise and you can almost convince yourself you don't hear the screams. By the time tank is empty, everything's over, even the men are quiet, There's nothing but the crackling of burning thatch.
You see, it's not the noise that keeps me awake at the night. It's the silence.
