A small-caliber submachine gun best suited for close range skirmishes. |

MP60-R is a Hand Gun and one of the available Weapons in Remnant 2. MP60-R is an effective handgun designed for close-range combat, featuring a compact size, high rate of fire, and precise bursts that make a difference in intense encounters.
An old but reliable weapon that is best suited for close range combat. Its compact size and high rate of fire make it ideal for skirmishes and cramped environments where maneuverability is key. While it may lack the punch of larger weapons, its quick and precise bursts can make all the difference in a tight spot.
The scarcity of ammo only makes each bullet more precious. Every shot fired is a gamble with fate, however, the more you can unleash, the better your odds of surviving.
How to Get MP60-R in Remnant 2
MP60-R can be obtained by:
There is a locked chest in Ford's office, and it requires a 4-digit code to be opened. The code can be found inscribed in the base of the Flashlight he gives you when heading to the World Stone for the first time. Inspect it to learn the number.
Head to the chest and input the number "0415". You will find the Cargo Control Key inside. Head to the area filled with containers, continue heading down to find a locked door. Use the Cargo Control Key you previously found on the locked chest to open the door. Grab the MP60-R from the table in the room.

Yeah followed all instructions and no SMG. On reddit it's a ton of people reporting this.

Kinda upset they made a locked chest just to keep ONE ****ing key. Why can't they throw another armor set from remnant in as well...

la mp60r n'est pas a sa place sur notre jeu via steam tandis que via xbox tout les emplacement sont correct, es ce qu'une version pc changerais d'une version xbox?

It just works. No matter the build, no matter the enemy, it just kills stuff dead. Good firerate without being totally uncontrollable, the recoil amd spread are wide enough to help hit fast movers in close quarters, but still tight enough that burst fire at range works fine. The damage is solid, no complaints there. The reload can be a bit slower, but with 42 in the mag you don't reload too often.
Add on one of the elemental bullet mods (all 3 are great on it, I like Overflow for fire rate and reload speed) and something like Bandit, Refunder, Momentum, Extender, Lithely - really any mutator, and it has no problem competing with the Enigma for CC while also having respectable single target damage. MPR-60 is tied with Rupture Cannon for my favorite handgun.

we've gunned down gods and kings together in 1, and we do so again here in 2
this gun will carry the game without complaint
This seems less accurate than the Tech 22. It also seems to reload slower. Thoughts?

Can be in fact permanently locked due to key being able to be sold to weavers web.

Why are the descriptions so loose? "Head to the area filled with containers, continue heading down to find a locked door." Continue where... just continue the whole area i guess.

I got the Chicago typewriter from ford's chest instead of the mo60. This is after I tried to get the typewriter and it wasn't in its spot in the labyrinth. I have no clue where to find the mp60 now

I got this after beating the campaign for the first time. It was at +10. Is it always at +10?

"Aah, you were at my side, all along. My true mentor...My guiding uzi..."
Honestly probably the best secondary available unless you're going with Enigma. Even though the tech22 shoots a little faster, it does less damage and stagger with a smaller mag.

the code "0415" may actually be a nod to looking glass studios and the fact that "0451" is highly prevalent as a code in both their games, and plenty of others that all are paying homage to them. pretty cool if so.
