Astandard issue military spec sidearm known for its reliability and accuracy.

Service Pistol is a Hand Gun and one of the available Weapons in Remnant 2. Service Pistol is a reliable and accurate standard issue military handgun, suitable for various combat situations, with decent damage and an effective range for engagements within 20 to 50 meters.

I used to carry one of these service pistols while on active duty, and it was of the utmost importance to me that the weapon remained pristine and in working order. But, when the world ended, things like that stopped being important.

Remnant 2 Service Pistol Notes & Trivia

  • This service pistol has seen better days. Its metal frame is corroded with rust, while its once pristine finish is now chipped and faded. With proper maintenance, it can still prove to be a deadly weapon.
  • Hand Guns round up the players' arsenal, providing them with a shorter-range variation to Long Guns. They can be crafted from items dropped by specific Bosses, rewarded from events and some are sold by Merchants
  • Updated with the release of The Forgotten Kingdom DLC. Check Patch Notes for more information. Increased Magazine Size from 9 to 10 and Increased Reload Speed.

"The 1911 was the design given by God to us through John M. Browning that represents the epitome of what a killing tool needs to be. It was true in 1911 and is true now."

      —Colonel Robert J. Coates, USMC

Also, yeah, the gun's pretty good. Replaced the Western Classic as my main Hand Gun.

I'm tired of hearing "Muh twu Deadwood wars" and " .9mm kill the wood but .45 kill the core". OK, Brabus, we get it; you're old.

A perfectly reasonable weapon imo, a nice little burst of shots to kill something and reload - a hint of range compared to other sidearms keeps it handy, very useful for quickly dispatching fliers if using something like the scattergun. If I'm not sure what sidearm to bring, I bring this!

Not really sure how to play with this thing without using extender mutator, damage is really a problem for a 9 round mag, but if it was 12-14 by default it would be much more useable

A very okay-ish gun, but just doesn't do enough damage for the use-cases I want it for (namely trash killing and back-up side arm when reloading primary). The damage isn't great, the reload speed is quick-ish, and the handling is fine, but it's crippled by having a *tiny* mag size for me.
