A simple key. But considering its owner, whatever it unlocks must be far from simple.

Cargo Control Key is a Quest Item in Remnant 2Quest Items are used to unlock or advanced through certain quests or main story quests, as well as unlocking and discovering certain areas. Key Items are specifically found in specific areas of a Location, given by NPCs or looted from Enemies and Bosses.

What goes around comes around. If you didn't do anything wrong - say, take something that wasn't yours - you should be just dandy. Now what's that look for?

How to Use Cargo Control Key in Remnant 2

There is a locked chest in Ford's office, requiring a 4-digit code to be opened. The code can be found inscribed in the base of the Flashlight he gives you when heading to the World Stone for the first time. Inspect it to learn the number.

Head to the chest and input the number "0415". You will find the Cargo Control Key inside.

Head to the area filled with containers, continue heading down to find a locked door. Use the Cargo Control Key you previously found on the locked chest to open the door. Grab the MP60-R from the table in the room.

it appears you can get the cargo control key again on a new campaign, but the door will already be open so you can't get the MP60-R again.
